Deepak Goel shared this500 Global has launched their very first program for creators and creator-led startups, the Creators Ventures Accelerator, a 10-week program in partnership with Creators HQ | مقر المؤثرين. This program is in conjunction with and will lead up to the 1 Billion Followers Summit in January 2026! The program is designed for: - Creators who are building companies from their communities, audiences, or influence (like Michelle Phan with Ipsy, Freddy Vega with Platzi, or Eric Nam with DIVE Studios). - Creator-enablers building platforms, tools, and technologies that empower creators to design, scale, and monetize (think: Canva for design, Patreon for membership, or Linktree for discovery). The program combines 500 Global’s venture-building expertise with Creators HQ’s deep creator economy network, and ends with the chance for investment at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai. Deepak Goel liked thisDeepak Goel liked thisThe question is how those interfaces usually get built? Most of them exist to solve one problem: ambiguity. The platform doesn't know who you're dealing with on the other side, you don't either, and something has to bridge that gap. Different interfaces handle that gap differently. Some lean on community moderation. Some lean on professional verification. Some lean on reputation built over years of use. Marketplaces lean on infrastructure. Identity checks, reviews, fraud detection, dispute resolution, insurance programs. None of it is overhead. All of it is real work, and somebody has to pay for it. That somebody is the user. Typically through a 20 to 30% commission on every transaction. But also through time spent vetting strangers, the residual risk of fraud, and the small mental tax of trusting someone you don't know. Call it the trust tax. It's the price of working across an ambiguity gap. Which makes the next question worth asking: what happens when that ambiguity isn't there in the first place? #ProductThinking #BuildingInPublic #ConsumerTech #CommunityFirst

Deepak Goel liked thisDeepak Goel liked thisAn ideal-world thought. What if grown-up life had an app for the parts of it that don't really need to be hard? The real world is noisy enough. New job in a new city. Flat hunt with a 30-day clock. A daily commute that costs more than it should. Selling a car when you upgrade. Sending something to your parents and not knowing who to ask. Each of these is small on its own. Stacked together, they're most of what life transitions actually feel like. The friction isn't the task. It's the figuring-out-who-to-trust around the task. Scrolling Facebook groups for a flatmate. Vetting a stranger off OLX for the car. Asking a colleague-of-a-colleague for a carpool lead. Posting in a WhatsApp forward and hoping someone you sort-of know responds. Each one comes with its own small administrative weight - do I trust this person, do they exist, will this work out. None of it is dramatic. All of it is heavy. The thing I keep coming back to: working professionals and students already exist inside verified communities. Same employers, same campuses, same buildings. Real institutional identities, already in place, mostly unused for the daily things we need from each other. What if the starting assumption was that the person on the other side is already verified, already part of your community, already someone you can deal with simply - instead of the other way around? Not another marketplace. Not another social app. Just an app for the practical bits of grown-up life - verified, low-noise, low-drama. So that life transitions feel a little lighter than they do now. 🤌 Curious - what's the small daily thing that takes more energy than it really should for you? #ProductThinking #BuildingInPublic #ConsumerTech #CommunityFirst

Deepak Goel reacted on thisDeepak Goel reacted on thisI need to tell you about a boy named Salil. Salil is my brother - decades ago in 1994, he was struggling emotionally after being bullied on school campus - quietly, invisibly - in the way that kids do when the systems around them aren't built to notice. There were no early warnings. No proactive check-ins. No layer of support designed to catch him before things got serious. That gap nearly cost us everything. It also became the reason TrustCircle exists. Today, I'm humbled to share that TrustCircle has been named one of World's Most Innovative Companies of 2026 - No. 8 in Education, globally 🙏 When I say this is personal, I mean it in the most literal sense. Every product decision, every school partnership, every late night - it all traces back to that gap I saw in Salil's life. The gap between a child starting to struggle and the moment anyone around them notices. We built TrustCircle to close that gap. To move K-12 mental health from reactive to proactive. To give schools the tools to see what's coming before it arrives. Here's what that looks like in practice today: 🌍 Recognised by @Hawaii DoE, NIHR, WHO - UNICEF - World Bank's Healthy Brains Global Initiative, UNDP, CatalystNow, Warwick University, Ashoka, G20, and schools across US, Malaysia, and India All this belongs to every school counselor, teacher, and student who said yes when it wasn't the consensus. Every district leader who chose prevention over the status quo. Every family who shared their story so we could build something better. And to the TrustCircle team, who turn a deeply personal mission into a prevention and well-being infrastructure for K-12 schools - every single day. To Salil: we're just getting started and hope you know all about this journey - one day! If you're a district leader, a school principal, a counselor, or a parent who believes that student mental health deserves more than a crisis hotline - I'd love to connect. #FCMostInnovative #MIC2026 #StudentMentalHealth #K12Education #SDG3 #SDG4 #Innovation #EdTech #SchoolWellbeing #Prevention #AIforGood Vandana Sharma Praveen Kumar Panchal Mahima Singh Son great Tamilalagan Markandeya Dadhich Kabita Mishra Manisha Tiwary Manish Yadav Eishan Sharma Yana Kachurina Sumitra Pasupathy Swaran Preet Singh Dhuwarakha Sriram Soledad Herrero Manasa Priya Vasudevan Tannistha Datta Abhishek Gupta Richard Johnson Anna Delvig Dr. Victor Ladele Thomas Davin Maria Zapata Manoj Kumar Thara Rangaswamy #MikeRios Richard Swart, PhD Thierry de Panafieu Swastika D. Deepak Goel liked thisDeepak Goel liked thisBE ACTION ORIENTED, NOT STATE ORIENTED The state of mind most conducive to success is action orientation. Psychologists have studied the states of mind that tend to make us more successful, whatever the challenge. There are at least two we can adopt: action orientation and state orientation. Adopting an action orientation means focusing on the task ahead with no thought to your current emotional or physical state. A state orientation means you’re thinking principally about yourself: how prepared you feel in that moment, the worry you feel over a text left unanswered, the light prickling at the back of your throat. Adopting an action orientation, it turns out in studies, makes it much more likely that you accomplish the task. Arnold Schwarzenegger is the epitome of action orientation. In his biography on Netflix, one of the things that stands out across all three episodes is his relentless focus on action. He says, “When I wake up in the morning, I don’t ask myself, ‘How am I today,’ [or] ‘Do I feel sad today’?” In other words, he doesn’t ruminate on how he feels on a daily basis. He adds, “If you’re busy all the time, you don’t have time to think about this stuff. Let’s just move forward. Move. Move. Move. Move.” Classic action orientation.

It was a privilege to share reflections on a journey that has, in many ways, shaped who I am and what I believe philanthropy can become. A few lessons that have guided me along the way: Start early and make giving a habit — When giving becomes second nature, like saving or investing, its impact compounds across time, generations, and communities. Build platforms, not just programs — Real change often comes from creating spaces where people with shared purpose can connect, collaborate, and multiply impact together. Lead with trust and bridge communities — Whether close to home or across continents, strengthening trust and lowering barriers to participation can unlock collective potential and deepen meaningful engagement. I hope you find the interview valuable. Love your comments and feedback. From our PearX S25 cohort, meet Pravāh, the AI-native operating system for the electric grid When Mohak Mangal, Dhruv Suri, and Aman Gupta looked at the strain on the U.S. electric grid, they saw a system pushed to its limits. Exploding demand and unpredictable supply have made blackouts increasingly common. This costs the economy more than $150B a year, a number that could 10x in the next five years. Mohak Mangal and team founded Pravāh to help fix it. Their platform helps utilities and grid operators make real-time decisions on load, generation, and congestion, reducing blackout risks, optimizing power procurement, and bringing much-needed stability to the backbone of modern life. We’re proud to support the Pravāh team as they take on one of the toughest and most important infrastructure challenges of our time.

What a joy to speak with this brilliant cohort of innovators in the The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) ENTICE (Energy Transitions Innovation Challenge) 2.0 program and taking on their sharp questions at the investor bootcamp. 80% of global GHG emission reduction goals for 2050 can be met through energy system decarbonization, efficiency and electrification. This represents a US $100 trillion opportunity according to the IEA. A stronger, more stable grid is at the heart of building a #resilient #energy future. This year’s program challenges innovators to tackle: 1) Behind-the-meter digital twins: #AI tools to analyse consumption and create appliance-level insights 2) Industrial flexibility at scale: AI solutions using smart meter data to identify flexible assets and operational inefficiencies Kudos to the entrepreneurs and the GEAPP team for curating and executing such a thoughtful program. Looking forward to seeing how these #innovations scale #impact. Synapses Dalberg Media Vaishali (Vish) Mishra Anukul Tripathi (He/Him) Jayant Sinha Saurabh Kumar

Thrilled to announce that Together Fund is investing in Sentra, alongside a16z speedrun! You track results in Jira. Decisions in Notion. Conversations in Slack. But the reasoning, the debates, trade-offs, and context behind why you chose A over B, disappears into what we call "Dark Matter." A decision made in March looks insane by July because no one remembers the constraints that made it smart. I lived this firsthand at Twitter scaling from 800 to 8,000 employees, and at Google while launching AI Overviews to billions at planet scale. The problem isn't process. Process is compensation for something deeper: organizational amnesia. An organization’s "Systems of Record" doesn’t solve this, they encode it. They store what happened, never why. That's why we are investing in Sentra. Sentra is the always-on collective memory that eliminates organizational amnesia by maintaining accurate context for all members and agents, functioning as an operational nervous system. It connects to every channel where work happens, meetings, Slack, email, code commits, docs, calendars, and treats them not as artifacts to search, but as living signals to synthesize. The fleeting and the permanent, unified into a memory that understands. The founding team is built for this: - Jae Gwan Park (CEO): Product-first founder, memory systems research at UofT and MIT - Ashwin Gopinath (CSO): Former MIT professor, created "Reflexion" (NeurIPS 2023), agents that learn from mistakes, 2x founder - Andrey Starenky (CTO): Early Vapi engineer, ex-IBM, built to process enterprise-scale data firehose Together is an operator-led fund. We invest in problems we've lived. This is one of them. Many congrats Jae, Ashwin and Andrey, we are so excited to partner with you! Today marks a milestone for Salesforce Ventures, and a defining moment for enterprise security. Alphabet’s acquisition of Wiz has officially closed. Wiz has been a cornerstone of our portfolio since May 2021, when Nowi Kallen, Kartik Gupta, and team first invested in their Series B at a $1.5B valuation. We saw the potential early and invested deeply, backing the team through their Series C, D, and E rounds. From a $1.5B Series B to a $32B acquisition, one of the largest in enterprise tech history, the Wiz team’s execution has been nothing short of extraordinary. This outcome reflects our mission at Salesforce Ventures: identifying the companies that define the next era of technology and staying behind them for the long haul. But the real credit belongs to the entire Wiz team on the ground. Beyond the technology, it was the relentless grit and day one mentality of Assaf Rappaport and the team that turned a vision into a $32B reality. Huge congratulations to the entire Wiz team on this historic achievement.

On the latest episode of Embracing Erosion I sat down with Suyog Deshpande, Co-Founder & CEO of Webless (a Fluvio Ventures portfolio company). Before starting Webless, Suyog spent years at Amplitude, Salesforce, and Samsara - shaping products and GTM strategy at scale as a product marketing leader. That perspective is now fueling one of the boldest bets in tech: 🏗️ rebuilding the web for LLMs. Instead of optimizing for clicks and SEO, Webless imagines an agentic web -where sites are designed to interact directly with AI models and agents. We dug into: - What an LLM-native web could actually look like - How companies can prepare to be LLM-ready - What metrics will matter beyond pageviews and clicks - Why safety and trust are core to agent-driven experiences - Lessons Suyog brings from “big tech” into this transformation If you’re curious about how discovery, trust, and value exchange will evolve online, this one’s worth your time. In a recent interview, Baiju Shah (CEO, AKQA) offered advice that resonates deeply with the current state of venture and innovation. He speaks of the "intersection of tech and creativity." It's a crossroads that will define the next era of digital commerce. As AI begins to shape the shopping experience, it's predicting our needs, curating our choices, and designing our digital environments. We face a critical question: Are we designing for efficiency, or are we designing ethically? True innovation requires what Shah calls "responsible application." It's not enough to build algorithms that can sell; we must build systems that understand context, ethics, and the value of human agency. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eJyxua86 #Innovation #Technology #ResponsibleApplication #Ethics

🎙️ From Square to Mercury: How Rohini Pandhi became one of fintech’s top product leaders—and how velocity of learning at high slope companies shaped everything. Rohini dropped so many gems in our first episode of First Builders: 💎 Generalist → Specialist: In her early career, she was a generalist and tried everything. This led her to critical discoveries. She specialized in product and fintech when the “time was right” 💎 Follow the Engineers and Designers: Square was a high slope environment for Rohini, packed with talent density and learnings. She finds high slope environments by studying where smart engineers and designers are going. 💎 Fake News about PMs: PMs don’t just “move fast and break things.” Her team runs 30-50 customer interviews per quarter, providing rigor behind every decision. 💎 It’s Usually Too Early to Hire a PM: A top question she gets from founders is whether they should hire a PM. She usually says: “it’s too early.” 💎 Hiring a World Class Team is Like Tennis: When finding a tennis partner, you want someone a little better than you who can challenge you to improve your game.
