Our mission is to facilitate a partnership between the community, the media and law enforcement in order make the metropolitan area a safer place to live, work and visit. Centurions is a leadership development program for emerging leaders sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. I served four different terms on the alumni board during an eight year period. I am a 2002 graduate of the Centurions Leadership Program.

Fortunate to be part of Centurions Class of 2002 and a member of the Steering Committee. Centurions is a 2-year leadership development program that forces you to confront crucial issues facing our community while working with an amazing diverse class of emerging leaders.

I was the Mayor's appointee for 2022 to participate in Leadership Overland Park. LOP was established to develop leaders who are passionate about the future of their city and community. This leadership program informs and educates the future leaders of the region and prepares them to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. We studied economic development, infrastructure, public safety, healthcare, quality of life, etc.

Downtown Overland Park Partnership (DOPP) is a non-profit organization contracted by the City of Overland Park to advance the marketing, recruitment, physical enhancement and continued redevelopment of Downtown Overland Park. As a board member of DOPP, my focus is to achieving and succeeding these goals while representing our city.

I had the pleasure of serving as President of our Bentwood Park Homeowners Association for 2 years. This was a great way to serve our community and get to know neighbors. Board responsibilities include conflict resolution, dues, communication, pool/playground, trash collection and special events.

The eCommunication program provides a platform for learners to communicate, collaborate, innovate and design. Animators, graphic designers, web designers, filmmakers and broadcasters work beyond the classroom to create media -- for the school, community, and professional clients. Students become expert communicators, collaborators, project managers and leaders – ready to take on further education, careers and life.

Honored to serve as a mentor and advisor to Incentive Program students at Rockhurst High School.

Served as youth ministry volunteer while leading high school and middle school groups over a total of 8 years between Colonial and Journey. Currently serving as a K-2nd Grade Sunday School Teacher.

Coaches vs. Cancer is the public fundraising & awareness initiative with American Cancer Society. We combined forces with KU, K-State, Mizzou basketball head coaches to produce a large campaign and event. I co-lead the Development Committee.

I'm a terrible ball player, but I spent many years as a baseball coach & manager in the Blue Valley Recreation and Olathe Youth Baseball organizations.

I completed the FBI Citizens Academy in the Kansas City Field Office and represented my class in Washington DC and Quantico. In addition to the FBI Citizens Academy, I completed the Citizens Academy program with the Overland Park Police Department as well as the Olathe Police Department.
