Hasan Rizvi posted thisI'm seeing more companies create Chief AI Officer roles. It's easier said than done, however. Unsurprisingly, determining the role's objectives and responsibilities is still a work in progress in many organizations. To ensure that the CAIO role does more than provide short-term marketing benefits and avoids becoming a figurehead with little actual impact, it's crucial to design it thoughtfully. Here are some key areas where a CAIO can make a significant difference: 1. Alignment and Coordination: The CAIO should provide strategic direction and vision, helping to coordinate resources and find the right balance between the risks and rewards of AI adoption. This can prevent extreme outcomes like a free-for-all system or total paralysis due to IP, privacy, and security concerns. 2. Governance and Oversight: AI implementations come with potential risks, and the CAIO must work closely with compliance, risk, business, and technical teams to strike the necessary balance. Organizations may ignore the risks without a leader navigating these complexities or become paralyzed. 3. Prioritization and Direction: The CAIO should suggest, triage, and prioritize AI initiatives, focusing on small, successful projects that generate excitement about job enhancement rather than replacement. This approach can foster a company environment that is friendly to AI adoption. 4. Center of Excellence (COE): The CAIO organization should host a COE to coalesce and develop the required AI competencies with available experts. The focus should be on quickly testing business outcomes and determining where to invest or cut back. To be effective, the CAIO role must pervade the entire organization over time without becoming a bureaucratic chokepoint that slows adoption. The ideal candidate should be a trusted insider with experience in senior roles and organization knowledge, reporting no further than one level below the CEO. How is your organization preparing to embark on its AI transformation journey?

Hasan Rizvi posted thisCurious about where we’ll first see the use of generative AI in the title industry? My bet is that we’ll see early adoption with escrow officers. Being an escrow officer (EO) is a rare combination of simultaneously performing sales, operations, and customer service. They prospect for new clients, coordinate and execute dozens of home purchase and sales transactions at any given time, and provide customer service to the buyers and sellers during one of life’s most important and stressful events. All of this must be done while dealing with: • Multiple stakeholders, such as realtors, loan officers, buyers, sellers, attorneys, notaries, title officers, and others • Hundreds of documents and forms where a single mistake can delay or add significant claims costs to the transaction • Multiple agencies and service providers like counties and banks • Numerous applications and systems, including email, calendar, title production, document repositories, third-party systems, etc. • Managing large sums of money through a gauntlet of local, state, and federal compliance regulations while fighting increased fraud and security risks This situation is tailor-made for applying emerging generative AI capabilities to help improve productivity and, equally significantly, simplify the long and grueling days that are typical for EOs. An AI assistant can improve every aspect of an EO’s day. The areas where we are seeing the most benefits include: • Information retrieval across various sources of information for ongoing transactions, enabling better customer service with real-time updates • Email productivity - given the amount of time spent in communication and coordination, being able to connect the email system with the Title Production Systems and create a single context is extremely valuable and saves much manual time • Prospecting new customers with personalized messaging and market analysis • Automation of repetitive and repeatable tasks such as loan payoffs and document QC • Compliance activities and fraud prevention It’s an exciting time for the title industry as we explore how AI can enhance and transform existing workflows. How do you see AI reshaping this industry?

Hasan Rizvi liked thisCan't wait to check out this course!Hasan Rizvi liked thisNew course: Agent Memory: Building Memory-Aware Agents, built in partnership with Oracle and taught by Richmond Alake @richmondalake and Nacho Martínez Rincón. Many agents work well within a single session but their memory resets once the session ends. Consider a research agent working on dozens of papers across multiple days: without memory, it has no way to store and retrieve what it learned across sessions. This short course teaches you to build a memory system that enables agents to persist memory and thereby learn across sessions. You'll design a Memory Manager that handles different memory types, implement semantic tool retrieval that scales without bloating the context, and build write-back pipelines that let your agent autonomously update and refine what it knows over time. Skills you'll gain: - Build persistent memory stores for different agent memory types - Implement a Memory Manager that orchestrates how your agent reads, writes, and retrieves memory - Treat tools as procedural memory and retrieve only relevant ones at inference time using semantic search Join and learn to build agents that remember and improve over time! https://lnkd.in/gFufR3JD

This quarter, Oracle finally gave investors something more tangible than a giant backlog. Revenue rose 22% Y/Y to $17.2 billion, OCI growth accelerated to 84%, and RPO climbed to $553 billion. The question is no longer whether demand is real. It is whether Oracle can turn that demand into durable returns before the financial strain gets too heavy. 𝟭) 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽: OCI growth jumped from 68% last quarter to 84%. That is the clearest sign yet that Oracle is converting backlog into real revenue. 𝟮) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱: Oracle said many new AI contracts do not require incremental capital raises because customers are prepaying or supplying GPUs directly. That eases one of the market’s biggest fears. 𝟯) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲: Oracle kept its $50 billion FY26 CapEx target and raised FY27 revenue guidance by $4 billion to $90 billion. The opportunity is getting bigger, but so is the risk. 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲: Oracle is finally showing real revenue conversion. The bull case looks more grounded in execution now. But this remains one of the most balance-sheet-intensive bets in Big Tech. 👇 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 https://lnkd.in/gnPz2FFc 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. Hasan Rizvi liked thisHasan Rizvi liked thisHere’s my perspective on the whole AI coding tools revolution: for the average developer, these tools might turn them into a 2x or 3x version of themselves. But for truly great developers, the kind who see around corners, this is going to be like a 100x boost. Not because they write more code, but because they can move faster with better judgment. They’ll explore more paths, validate ideas sooner, design smarter architectures, automate the repetitive stuff, and experiment way faster. In other words, these tools won’t lift everyone up evenly. They’ll let the really great developers absolutely soar. And honestly, I think that’s a pretty exciting shift. Curious if others are already seeing this gap widen on their teams. #AI #SoftwareEngineering #EngineeringLeadership
