Holly Howell shared thisChristine Kern is incredible at talent development and I want to give a few words out to my network about how fab she is! She brings so much heart to her work and she genuinely cares about people, growth, and real impact. She is one of those souls that leaves every place better than she found it. She did so much for Mission, and I’d hire her a million times over. She would be an outstanding addition to any organization that’s serious about investing in talent and growth. 🩷Holly Howell shared thisI've always wanted to be an entrepreneur, ever since I was in middle school selling custom Creepy Crawlers to my classmates. For years, I scratched that itch from the inside: building teams, programs, and ideas from the ground up inside Fortune 500 companies. Intrapreneur, I guess you'd call it. But I always assumed that one day I'd step out and build something entirely my own. In 2023, I got the chance. And I learned something I didn't expect: I don't actually love it. At least, not all of it. It took a while to admit that to myself. It feels even more vulnerable to say it here. What I discovered is this. I do my best work with a team, moving toward a shared vision, alongside leaders who believe that investing in people and chasing an ambitious mission aren't in conflict. They're the same thing. I'm now intentionally choosing my next chapter. I'm looking for a leader who genuinely believes that how people feel at work determines what the business can become, and who wants someone to close the gap between their company's current performance and its real potential, all the while building a place people are lining up to be part of. That person is me. If that sounds like somewhere you know, or someone you know, I'd love an introduction. 👉 next.christine-kern.com

Holly Howell shared thisHow awesome to be featured by Mission, a CDW Company for the "Day in the Life" series! 🥰Holly Howell shared thisBehind the screens at Mission! 👀 Our "Day in the Life" series continues with Holly Howell, Sr. Recruiter, working from Florida. 🏋️ What’s your morning ritual before diving into work? I love to move before starting my day or later on in the morning/early afternoon. Whether it’s weight lifting, a walk, or a HIIT class, getting a workout in early or mid-morning helps me feel energized and focused. I’m pretty competitive in the gym too—I’m always chasing a new PR or pushing myself to lift heavier. It’s become a big part of my routine and mindset; starting the day with a challenge helps me show up more motivated and ready to tackle whatever the day brings. 🤝 How would you describe what you do at Mission in three sentences or less? I help connect great people with great opportunities at Mission. I partner with hiring managers to understand what their teams need, find top talent, and make sure candidates have an amazing experience throughout the process. My goal is to help build teams that set Mission up for long-term success while creating a positive and thoughtful hiring journey for every candidate we meet. 🚀 Favorite memory or project at Mission Cloud, and why? One of my favorite experiences has been working directly with our SLT on leadership searches, including the Practice VP of Sales and Practice VP of Channels roles. It was incredibly rewarding to earn their trust, build strong relationships, and contribute to such impactful hires. Being involved in those searches gave me the opportunity to think more strategically, partner closely with leadership, and see firsthand how the right hire can influence the direction of a team. Those experiences really helped me uplevel my skills and grow professionally. 🤩 What’s your favorite thing you get to do each day at work? Delivering an offer....hands down!! There’s nothing better than finding the perfect fit for a role and getting to make that call to share the good news. It’s one of the most exciting and rewarding moments in recruiting because it represents all the work that went into finding the right match. 💪 If you weren’t a recruiter, what would you do? Something in sports for sure. Maybe sports broadcasting or sports analytics. Sports have always been my escape and something I’m really passionate about. I love the strategy, the competition, and the stories behind teams and athletes, so getting to work in that world would be amazing. 🙏 Best career advice you’ve received The best career advice I’ve received is to focus on building genuine relationships and trust. When you lead with authenticity and invest in people, everything else tends to follow. Recruiting especially is built on relationships, so taking the time to really understand people and support them goes a long way in creating meaningful connections and long-term success.

Holly Howell shared thisResharing this because my network should absolutely know Tony!!!! Tony is honestly a huge reason I came back to Mission. His people first leadership style, the way he trusts and supports his team, and the kind of human he is made it an easy decision for me. Over the last year and a half, I truly don’t know what I would have done without his leadership, support, and ability to keep perspective when things got crazy. Beyond being an incredible talent leader, he’s just a genuinely great human, dad, mentor, and someone who deeply cares about the people around him. I feel really lucky I got to work under him for a second time. Tony is starting his next chapter and any company building or scaling teams would be incredibly lucky to have him. If you're looking for a thoughtful, strategic TA leader who knows how to build strong teams and great culture..definitely connect with him. Really excited to see what’s next for you, Tony. Your next team is going to be so lucky to have ya! <3Holly Howell shared thisToday marks the end of my chapter at Mission Cloud, now part of CDW. I’m grateful for the opportunity I had to help lead global talent acquisition during a period of significant growth and transformation that ultimately culminated in the company becoming part of CDW. Along the way, we had the chance to build an incredible team, scale hiring across multiple regions, and continue evolving how modern recruiting teams operate — including adopting more data-driven and AI-enabled approaches to hiring. Most importantly, I’m thankful for the many talented colleagues and leaders I had the privilege of working alongside. Building and growing teams together is always the most rewarding part of the journey. As I think about what’s next, I’m excited by the opportunity to partner with companies entering their next phase of growth — particularly organizations scaling GTM, product and engineering teams in high-growth technology environments. I’m always happy to connect with founders, operators, and talent leaders who are thinking deeply about how talent enables scale. And if you’re building something ambitious and thinking deeply about how talent enables scale, we should definitely connect! And to everyone I worked with at Mission Cloud and CDW — thank you for the experience and the partnership along the way.

Holly Howell shared thisI was curious this morning and pulled some hiring metrics, mostly just to see how the year had shaped up since January. I actually was a bit shocked to see that my recruiting efforts has helped 63 people join or find new roles here at Mission, a CDW Company! 🎉 I’m really grateful to my hiring managers, interview teams, and partners who make all of this work possible. I couldn’t be as successful as a recruiter without the collaboration, trust, and commitment from so many across Mission. So thank y'all! 😊 I care deeply about both the candidate and hiring manager experience. Being thoughtful, clear, and human on both sides of the process is something I try to lead with, and I’m hopeful that’s what makes our experience better for everyone involved. As we head into 2026, we’re still hiring and continuing to grow. If Mission Cloud is on your radar, or if you know someone who might be a great fit, I’d love to connect. 💙 https://lnkd.in/gxhNES69

Holly Howell shared thisWhat a truly incredible week at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas! ☁️ I had such a great time collaborating and connecting with my Mission, a CDW Company , a CDW Company teammates. Meeting some of them face-to-face for the first time and reconnecting with others. Moments like these really highlight how special our team is. Everyone is so driven and passionate, but yet so down to earth and fun! The Ignite Party was a huge success with an insane turn out. A major shoutout to our amazing marketing team for putting it all together. And of course, The Chainsmokers did not disappoint! 🎶🔥 I also had the opportunity to network with so many people at the Mission booth, including current candidates and future ones. It was energizing to hear everyone’s stories and share what makes Mission such an exciting place to be. And, as a sweet bonus, I unexpectedly ran into a close old friend, Abeer Thomson, and got to spend time with her which was truly the icing on the cake for an unforgettable week. 💛 I'm feeling thankful and proud to work alongside such incredible leaders and colleagues. Coming back to Mission was the best thing I could have done for my career. Excited to close out the year and continue making an impact for my hiring managers, candidates, and customers. We're hiring a Principal Marketing Analytics Manager to join our Growth Marketing team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves sitting at the intersection of data, strategy, and storytelling . We're looking for someone who can dig into marketing performance, build trusted reporting, and translate complex data into the “so what” that helps leaders make better decisions. Also, if you’re the kind of person already using AI 🤖 to automate, build, and scale your own impact, you’ll probably have a lot of fun here! For marketers, that's either a wake-up call or an opportunity. I'm looking forward to digging into this with some sharp CMO minds at Stage 2 Capital's Roundtable on May 27th. If you're thinking about how AI is reshaping the relationship between marketing and comms, I'd love to hear where your head is at. Drop a thought in the comments.

Holly Howell reacted on thisHolly Howell reacted on thisBusy is a decision. For over 10 years, I've been obsessed with eliminating external busyness. Time-blocking my calendar, protecting my focus, creating genuine white space in my days. Saying no has become a sport. I'm proud to say I've gotten really good at it. What I've been sitting with lately is the other layer of busy that has nothing to do with my calendar. Internal busyness. This one is a whole lot stickier to eliminate because for some of us, it's become part of our DNA. This kind of busyness shows up in the five minutes you have to do nothing and yet you feel the urge to do something. Anything. It's the inability to just... be still. External busy is a scheduling problem. Internal busy is a presence problem. No calendar system fixes that one. That's the work I'm in now.

“Without a doubt, Holly is one of the best recruiters that I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. Not only is she amazing at her job, she's one of the best co-workers you could ever hope to work and collaborate with. Holly brings her true (and fun) self to work every day and it lifts the spirts of everyone around her. In terms of recruiting, you can't ask for a better partner to help you fill a role. Holly takes the time up front to understand your needs and the needs of the department. She makes sure she understands how the role you're recruiting for supports the company's goals. All of this makes the recruiting and hiring process so efficient. In fact, on the two most recent roles Holly helped me fill, it took us only 22 days from approval and job posting to a signed offer. It wouldn't have happened without Holly. Holly is a true rock star when it comes to recruiting and adding to a company's culture. Any organization would be lucky to have her on their team.”

📢 Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through Action, Not Just Words 🕒 MLK Day | January A moment of reflection for leaders, teams, and communities 📝 The Gist • Dr. King’s vision centered on dignity, opportunity, and fairness for all people, especially in the workplace. • Progress has never come from technology or policy alone, it has come from courageous leadership and collective action. • As work evolves with AI and automation, equity and access remain defining challenges of our time. 💡 Enablement Angle • What this means for teams: True inclusion means ensuring every worker has access to skills, training, and opportunity as roles change. • How enablement changes outcomes: Investing in upskilling and support systems allows people to adapt, grow, and lead in new ways. • Why people-first AI matters: Technology should expand opportunity, not concentrate it. Dr. King’s legacy reminds us that progress must be shared. 👉 Takeaway: Honoring MLK Day means building workplaces where innovation and equity advance together, and where every person is enabled to contribute their full potential. 💬 How are you turning today’s reflection into meaningful action for your teams and communities?

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐀𝐈. In the past month I have had the opportunity to attend two incredible conferences, TA Week in July and RecruitCon this past week. Both were packed with insights, strategies, and networking opportunities. One thing really stood out to me. There was a clear theme: 𝐀𝐈. 𝘚𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘈𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. AI is an amazing tool and I am excited about the ways it can help us work smarter, but by the last day of both events I found myself craving something else, more conversation about the human touch in recruiting. 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺: 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞. 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥. Tools can make us faster and more efficient, but recruiting is about people’s lives, careers, and futures. If we lose sight of the human aspect, we risk losing the exceptional candidate experience we work so hard to create. Don't get me wrong, I love working with AI and AI can enhance what we do, but the heart of recruiting will always be that human touch. 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬!
