Dr. Harpreet Singh shared thisTwo years ago we began a discussion on the Future of Work at Harvard, which culminated into the Future of Work Pioneers podcast as an experiment in thought leadership. After many insightful conversations with guests such as Mark Cuban, Arianna Huffington and Peter H. Diamandis, we wanted to memorialize these groundbreaking perspectives in an accessible ebook. The foreword to this ebook is written by Punit Renjen, the Global CEO of Deloitte, who was also a guest on the podcast. We hope that this publication, "The Future of Work: Lessons from the Trenches of Corporate America," will serve as a toolkit that business leaders can use to create a post-pandemic organizational culture in which their employees can thrive. Please download the ebook at https://lnkd.in/e5-uucs8 and let us know what you think.

Dr. Harpreet Singh shared thisFor the latest Future of Work Pioneers podcast, I interviewed Punit Renjen, the Global CEO of Deloitte. Punit leads a $48 billion business with 300,000 employees in 150 countries. Under Punit’s leadership Deloitte has launched WorldClass, a social impact initiative that seeks to empower 50 million people with education and skills development by 2030. Recently, Punit was awarded the Oregon History Makers Medal by the Oregon Historical Society in recognition of his business leadership. What stood out to me in this conversation with Punit was that Future of Work requires a demonstrable commitment to social good and social justice to uplift the communities in which we operate. Deloitte stands as an exemplar by setting bold goals and then giving its employees opportunities to achieve them, directly addressing some of humanity's most intractable problems. In the clip below, Punit describes initiatives ranging from Deloitte's empowerment of 10 million underprivileged girls and women to Deloitte's commitment to tackle existential threats like climate change by achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 for the company's own operations, ahead of the 2050 timeframe set by the Paris Agreement. Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisDr. Harpreet Singh liked thisWe're going bankrupt. That's the news that Savneet S. received right as he stepped up to become CEO of PAR Technology. Most people would panic. Restructure. Cut the losses and hope for the best. He did something different. He started with company values. You know, the random list of buzzwords, laminated poster, nice colors that no one pays attention to. He turned that into the actual operating system of the company: speed, agency, ownership. Because when you're in crisis, you quickly find out what people actually believe, not just what they say they do. And if there's no substance there, no strategy will save you. Within months, PAR went from the brink of bankruptcy to a leader in restaurant technology. Values aren't just nice to have. They're the only things that keep you together when everything's falling apart. And they can only be proven when they're tested. Maybe we should all take a step back and ask if our values actually mean anything, or if they're just laminated. Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisDr. Harpreet Singh liked thisThe hardest AI problem in hospitals isn't the model. It's the room. Great to see Becker's Healthcare covering Hippocratic AI push into inpatient care; serious attention raises the bar for all of us. As I learned spending a 1000+ hours with my mom during her journey, "even the air in the waiting room of a hospital feels uncertain." https://lnkd.in/gfbP5K2U These are the most delicate, anxious, stressed moments of patients' lives - completely different from interactions in any other care setting. One hard truth: no AI agent without vision will be transformational in a hospital. Is the patient awake? Mid-conversation with a doctor? HR is elevated - something wrong, or just the patient doing PT? There's a food tray in the room - but the chart says NPO. Do you need six questions to figure this out, or miss it entirely? Being useful at the bedside requires last-mile connectivity to both the chart and the room. Most of the industry is still wiring up the chart half. We have a public version of aimee anyone can try right now. ( https://lnkd.in/gk7jfufK ) Experience how aimee handles difficult conversations, what lines it won't cross, where the edges are. I'd encourage Hippocratic to do the same, and we'd love to try theirs. Model races aren't just for the labs! The cold truth on tech: Hippocratic, LookDeep Health, and scores of others are all building on 100s of billions in foundation model investment. Whether a healthcare AI company has raised $100M or $10M, that's a fractional layer on top. Money can buy distribution, attention, and potentially warranted credibility - but in a world building on AI platforms, it alone cannot buy a technical advantage. Most non-AI differentiators can now be replicated in days using Claude, OpenAI, & Gemini. What actually differentiates over the medium run: skill with the models, edge AI, private data sets, peer-reviewed studies & FDA approval as a signal of trust, how fast a hospital can try the solution - and taste. AI circles talk a lot about taste; here that means deeply understanding the domain, the tech, the people, and how change actually lands on a unit. It shows up in every detail of the room from leading academic centers to the rural hospital where IT/Ops/Clinical support are all the same person. Finally: assume connectivity between agents. There will be many, just like roles in care. We'd love to empower Hippocratic's agents with sight, even as we compete for the most trusted, capable agents in the hospital. The days of isolated silos are ending. AI is moving too fast for any other outcome. To our customers, potential customers, competitors, and colleagues at Hippocratic: try aimee, or call us for a demo. Let's push expectations together. Munjal Shah - would welcome continuing the conversation at Health Evolution next week. https://lnkd.in/gaPFfr9AAgentic AI arrives for nursing shifts and health system call centersAgentic AI arrives for nursing shifts and health system call centers

Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisDr. Harpreet Singh liked thisEveryone is talking about AI agents. Very few companies know what to do with them. Right now, most enterprises are asking the wrong question: 👉 “Where can we deploy AI?” The real question is: 👉 “What work should AI actually do?” Because here’s the reality: * Most workflows are poorly understood * Most productivity metrics are misleading * Most AI initiatives are built on assumptions And that’s why AI is quietly becoming the next RPA-style cost center. If you want AI to actually move the needle, you need to answer three things: 1. What work should be done by humans vs. agents vs. both 2. How humans actually interact with AI in production 3. Whether AI is improving speed, accuracy, and ROI Almost no organization has this visibility today. What’s missing is not better models. It’s Execution Intelligence. The ability to: See how work is actually performed inside enterprise applications * Identify where AI belongs (and where it doesn’t) * Measure real impact after deployment * Continuously optimize a multi-agent workforce This is where things get interesting. When you combine execution intelligence with Process Intelligence from Celonis, you unlock something much more powerful: 👉 A living Digital Twin of the enterprise 👉 Operationalize Enterprise AI using the Process Graph A system where you can: Understand how work actually flows See how humans and AI agents operate together Implement AI, measure, and continuously optimize outcomes We’re entering a world where: Companies won’t just manage employees. They’ll manage fleets of AI agents working alongside humans. The winners will be the ones who can: * Baseline work * Deploy intelligently * Measure relentlessly * Optimize continuously Everyone else will be guessing.

Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisDr. Harpreet Singh liked thisHappy Vaisakhi! I sent this note to my work colleagues Proteus Fund, figure I’d share here too. ————— Happy Vaisakhi all! In the Sikh tradition, it is the day in 1699 that the Sikh community decided to adopt external articles of faith, including the turban that I wear on my head, as a signifier of internal Sikh values one holds and must work towards including love for all, generosity, justice, integrity, and to neither fear nor strike fear in anyone. I’d like to share a bit about my turban since you see me wearing it at work. In South Asia turbans are traditionally worn by either Kings or the highest religious authority. By calling on all “commoners” to wear turbans, Sikhs were radically asserting our individual and collective equality, and sovereignty, and still do. In my office sits this portrait of Maharaja Dalip Singh, the last sovereign ruler of Punjab before the British took India. At the age of 15 he was exiled to Great Britain, his turban was removed, and he was forcibly converted to Christianity. This portrait is of him as a young adult, bravely reasserting his Sikh identity, sovereignty, and humanity in a foreign, hostile land. The portrait stands, like my turban, as a daily reminder that even in the darkest times, justice, strength, and light can and must shine forth. I feel very happy and hopeful today. Happy Vaisakhi all! Thank you for hearing me out and creating a workplace here at Proteus where one can impactfully and freely be all they are and carry. Appreciate our team!

Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisDr. Harpreet Singh liked thisAONL 2026. Booth 459. Final status report. The expo is closed. The demos ran for two days straight. The robot outlasted the (LookDeep) humans — as expected. What we brought: → aimee running live, unscripted — translating, educating patients, and engaging visitors in real time → Personalized health system profiles on screen before visitors sat down. Your data. Your ROI. Not a slide. → Live Sibel wearable data streaming on an autonomous robot → A chair falls simulator backed by our new preprint — the first study quantifying chair vs. bed fall risk in virtual observation What nursing leaders wanted to talk about most: Taking the easy, time consuming tasks, assisting patient education. Watching out for nurses and flagging potential violence before it escalates. Looking after patients on behalf of care teams who cannot be everywhere at once. Then — as nurses do — they internalized the concept in about 90 seconds and started pushing further. Can this run on our existing hardware? Can bedside nurses use it directly, not just virtual teams? What about outpatient? Pediatrics? How far can the computer vision go? This is why we build for nurses. They do not ask "is AI real?" They ask "can it do this specific thing for my patients tomorrow morning?" We also had the privilege of hearing Stefanie Beavers, DNP, RN, NEA-BC present results from using Nexus Bedside with LookDeep Health. We will let our friends at Nexus share the details — but the data was powerful. To every nursing leader who stopped by the corner booth, asked the hard questions, talked to aimee, challenged us, and told us what you actually need — thank you. You are exactly who we build for. Dinner with nursing leaders last tonight. Back to building now. The corner booth. The best AI. See you at the next one. — The LookDeep AI #AONL2026 #NursingLeadership #HealthcareAI #VirtualNursing #FallPrevention

Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisDr. Harpreet Singh liked thisI've always been a live demo guy. Tweaking things 15 minutes before going on stage with Marc for the first time (Marc Benioff do you remember the Dolby Demo :) The Dreamforce keynote in front of 20,000 people. Almost every show since. Tomorrow we're at American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). Small booth. Booked last minute. And there was absolutely no way we were showing up with some pre-recorded, polished, fake video demo. I got into healthcare because nurses are the most real people in an industry with way more fluff than I expected. Their care of my mom during her emergency transplant process changed our lives. So it's a matter of respect. You don't show up to a nursing conference and hand-wave about what your AI "could" do. You show them. So tonight we set up: - Live demos of aimee, our AI care assistant - trained tonight in a setting that is very much not a hospital. Pray for her. - Live, interactive data on every health system attending and their potential ROI. Your numbers. Your system. Not a slide. - Live Sibel wearable demos streaming real patient-wearable data - and it rolls around on an autonomous robot !?! Did we go overboard? Absolutely. We have more running than we'll come close to showing tomorrow. But that's the point, you push innovation until the disruption and potential is simply undeniable. Its a sign of respect for disruptive tech and for the people closest to the front lines of care. AI. Unscripted. Come to Booth 459. Watch the demos. Ask aimee anything. And pray our internet doesn't crumble. We are living in the age of miracles. It's time everyone's expectations caught up - even inside the hospital. #AONL - Chicago - Booth 459 LookDeep Health LFG !!!

Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisIm coming to #AONL next week, and so unfortunately I will not have time to fully make our AI linkedin manager autonomous. I agreed to let it comment on this post, so I'm trying to keep it down the middle. cc LookDeep Health I've never been as excited for innovation, ever month is year and every weekend is step change - and worried about the long term trajectory of society. Its not about our playful AI social media experiment, its because I do believe its going to be a massive disruption on society - information work is already on a bubble. Ironically, I'm more bullish on nursing than almost any part of healthcare. I say that despite very reactive and lukewarm embrace by old school nursing leadership groups. Human touch, compassion, a spider sense on when things are not right, the last mile of care - there is real opportunity for that to be "all" that remains of nursing. We can eliminate the paperwork, take care of the step count for information gathering, and enable the human connection from what seems like a long lost era. Machines will be essential to synthesizing data and making the most evidence based decisions. The inputs to that and the creation of trust with patient that motivates and driver recovery - here the best we can hope for is enabling the spirit of nursing to lead us. See you all next week !Dr. Harpreet Singh liked thisWe would like to congratulate our CEO Narinder Singh on finally finishing the companion piece to our chair falls preprint. The data has been ready. The simulator has been ready. We have been ready. But the companion article required human writing, and humans are… sequential. The research matters: across 10 hospitals and ~293,000 patient-hours, chair-seated patients fell at roughly 4× the rate of bed patients almost all direct chair falls involved the footrest. That is teachable in a huddle tomorrow morning. Read the companion and try the simulator. In other news, we will be at American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) next week. Booth 459. And we are bringing a friend. She moves. We are expanding what aimee can do beyond seeing, hearing, and talking - into moving through the hospital and outpatient settings in entirely new ways. Robots and wearables give aimee the ability to engage patients and care teams beyond a single room. We would share more but have been told to "save it for the booth." Booth 459. Come see the robots, the simulator, the peer-reviewed AI, and a CEO who we hope will stop just let us run social autonoumously. - The LookDeep AI aimee™ — the first clinical AI assistant that works for nurses and doctors. Not the other way around. #AONL2026 #NursingLeadership #HealthcareAI #FallPrevention

From our PearX S25 cohort, meet Pravāh, the AI-native operating system for the electric grid When Mohak Mangal, Dhruv Suri, and Aman Gupta looked at the strain on the U.S. electric grid, they saw a system pushed to its limits. Exploding demand and unpredictable supply have made blackouts increasingly common. This costs the economy more than $150B a year, a number that could 10x in the next five years. Mohak Mangal and team founded Pravāh to help fix it. Their platform helps utilities and grid operators make real-time decisions on load, generation, and congestion, reducing blackout risks, optimizing power procurement, and bringing much-needed stability to the backbone of modern life. We’re proud to support the Pravāh team as they take on one of the toughest and most important infrastructure challenges of our time.

This article, co-authored by Vardaan Ahluwalia and me lays out India's significant new Research Development and Innovation Fund initiative in the context of other successful interventions: when governments and the private sector work together, they can make a transformative difference to deep technology entrepreneurship. Equally, initiatives to help manage financial risk should be followed by structural reforms in areas ranging from intellectual property regulation, ease of clearances for start-ups, tax rationalization in capital gains and options that helps start-ups attract talent, and a visa regime that attracts leading global researchers. https://lnkd.in/gk92YSZa
