But without understanding what clients actually need, we’re simply repeating the same work. NAUMD creates space for real conversations across the industry. It’s where you begin to see the bigger picture, including the challenges, the expectations, and where things are evolving. Reconnecting with long-time partners and meeting new faces, you start to see real progress happening across the industry. It’s also a space where competition meets collaboration, and where shared goals matter more. Inspiring to see so many teams doing exceptional work across the uniform space. For us, these conversations continue to shape how we approach the smaller components that carry identity over time. Always happy to continue the conversation beyond the show.

Common DTF Transfer Mistakes Killing Your Print Quality – And How to Fix Them Fast As custom apparel creators and small business owners scale, DTF (Direct to Film) has become a go-to for vibrant, durable prints. But even experienced teams run into fails that waste time and materials. Here are 5 frequent application mistakes we see—and practical fixes: Skipping Pre-Press → Moisture causes bubbling & weak bonds. Solution: Always pre-press garments 3-5 seconds at ~300°F. Incorrect Temperature/Time → Peeling or scorching. Solution: Standard 310°F for 10-12 seconds, medium-firm pressure (test settings!). Uneven Pressure → Patchy adhesion & edge lift. Solution: Level your press; apply consistent medium-heavy pressure. Wrong Peeling Technique → Residue, matte spots. Solution: Hot peel immediately at a slow 180° angle for optimal vibrancy. No Cover or Post-Press → Reduced durability & rough finish. Solution: Use Teflon sheet + quick cold post-press to seal & smooth.
