Bryan joins AFCC | Association of Family and Conciliation Courts following a comprehensive and competitive search and a unanimous vote by the AFCC Board of Directors. “We are thrilled to welcome someone with Bryan’s skills in operations and technology who is also a long-time AFCC member, partner, and contributor,” said AFCC President Stacey Platt. Bryan served as the operational leader at OurFamilyWizard for two decades, helping to build and manage most aspects of the organization. He has attended conferences and been an AFCC member for nearly two decades. He was the point person for OurFamilyWizard’s partnership with AFCC, which included sponsorship of educational programs and webinars, presentations at numerous AFCC conferences, widespread support and leadership of several AFCC chapters, and extensive support helping AFCC move its educational programming online in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. We live in Uptown in Minneapolis not far from ICE activity, protests, and the killings. I'm upset, but not scared. I carry two forms of proof of US citizenship with me at all times. I am trying my best to focus on my businesses and my family and myself. I'm supporting organizations like The Advocates for Human Rights and Justice Action Center. As a birthright citizen of the United States and a person of color, I listen to the stories my mom tells of growing up under martial law in Taiwan, and heed her words of encouragement to go about daily life as best I can. I help the kids get to school on time, take them to their music lessons and sports practices. I'm working my ass off to drive Pennant forward and keep Bust Out going. I volunteer my time with Theater Latté Da, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Public Radio, and American Public Media Group. I'm trying to stay in shape. I lean into my forum mates and other members of Entrepreneurs Organization Minnesota. I sleep well, but I've been having bad dreams. And I really, really hope the division in our country doesn't get deeper than it is today, because wounds take time to heal, and I don't want my children and future grand children to live in a world divided. We can do so much better than this.

We support our community with a holistic range of services from youth services like childcare, out-of-school time programs, summer camp, and an alternative high school, to older adult transportation, caregiving support, and wellness classes. We support our community with a holistic range of services from youth services like childcare, out-of-school time programs, summer camp, and an alternative high school, to older adult transportation, caregiving support, and wellness classes. We provide healthy nutrition with three food shelf programs. We help people gain economic stability and grow their careers through employment programs for all ages. We support family healing through our counseling programs for people who have been identified as using abusive behaviors as well as creative arts therapy for youth. -

Financial Planners. You must weed through wasters to get to the winners. Let’s talk about the dirty secret of paid lead generation that most agencies won't admit. When you run ads, you are buying attention at scale. And when you invite the general public into your funnel, you get the full spectrum of human behaviour. - Some are just researching. - Some want free DIY validation. - Some will book a meeting and ghost you. - And some are just genuinely unpleasant people. Advisers get a batch of 10 paid leads. They speak to three time-wasters in a row, get their ego bruised, and tell me: "These leads are trash. Turn the ads off." They are expecting a 100% hit rate because they are used to treating every lead like a warm, pre-sold referral from an accountant. Paid marketing is not a magic wand. Let's look at the potential math of a healthy 10-lead batch: - 4 leads might ghost you completely. - 3 leads are tire-kickers wanting free advice. - 1 lead is arrogant and uncoachable. - 2 leads are £500k+ pension consolidations who desperately need your help and sign the LOA. Let’s say If those 10 leads cost you £300 to generate... you just turned £300 into £20,000+ in initial and ongoing fees. The 8 bad leads are not a failure. They are simply the tax you pay to acquire the 2 great ones. Your job isn't to convert everybody. Your job is to build a sales process that acts like a ruthless sieve… disqualifying the time-wasters in 5 minutes so you can spend 5 hours on the winners.
