Jay Jamison shared thisToday, Ncontracts launched Nquiry — auditable, accurate compliance answers in minutes for banks, credit unions, mortgage companies, and wealth managers. The problem we set out to solve is one we heard on nearly every customer call: institutions are tired of "waiting on compliance." Answers take days. Confidence is hard-won. The audit trail gets stitched together after the fact. Nquiry changes that — built on 17 years of proprietary Ncontracts regulatory data, refined across our nearly 5,000 clients in the financial industry, and backed by our Compliance Concierge team for expert escalation. Early client reaction has been stellar. Enormous thanks to the product, engineering, design, and compliance experts who built this. You stayed obsessed with what customers actually need — and shipped it. This week marks one year since I joined Ncontracts. Days like today are exactly why I joined: driving an AI-first innovation agenda aimed at solving meaningful problems for our clients. We placed a bold bet, and this team is delivering an outstanding solution. Thanks all. Onwards. 🚀Jay Jamison shared this✨ Introducing Nquiry: Auditable. Accurate. Answers. Now. Today marks a turning point for financial organizations across the country. Jay Jamison shared thisI appreciate the opportunity to join Hg at their first ever CPO AI Summit and share the transformation story underway at Ncontracts as we drive to become a product centric AI first market leader delivering unmatched value to our clients. It was to pull back the curtain on how we're reimagining risk management for the 4,000+ financial institutions we serve. Moving from traditional software to AI-native solutions isn't just about technology—it's about fundamentally changing how our clients work, giving them hours back in their day to focus on what matters most. The recent launch of our Regression Intelligence and Complaint Intelligence offerings at Ngage was just the beginning. Seeing clients describe these tools as "game changing" validates the direction we're heading . And we're only just getting started. None of this happens without an incredible team. From our R&D and engineering teams building these capabilities, to our product managers deeply understanding client workflows, to everyone who's embracing this transformation—this is truly a collective effort. Grateful to work alongside such talented and dedicated people as we build the future of GRC together. Onwards.Jay Jamison shared thisYesterday, 50+ product leaders from across the Hg portfolio came together for the CPO AI Summit to discuss how we will reshape product management & leadership in the AI era. Read more on why the CPO is becoming the centre of the universe: https://lnkd.in/enUas3dx Our mandate is clear - understanding that in every platform shift, the playbook must be rewritten, not updated. AI is changing how we build products, the pace at which we can move, the depth of customer understanding and the definition of success. CPOs today must master the art of customer workflows deeply, embed adoption thinking from day 1, and orient their roadmaps around the required outcomes and the problems we’re solving, not features we’re building. The goals are clear - deliver lasting customer value through better products, a deep understanding of your customers' pain points, faster innovation, and stronger product leadership. The opening evening saw Avaneesh Marwaha of Litera, and Hg's David Issott discuss defending market position against AI-native competitors – a conversation that underscored the urgency of resetting product ambition. Matthew Brockman kicked off the main day, underscoring the importance of product and CPO in the shift to AI. Oji Udezue (Twitter, Calendly, Atlassian & Typeform to name a few) delivered an inspiring keynote on how the role of the CPO is rapidly evolving – humility & agency are ever important. Lindsay Sparks, Hg Serial Chair, discussed setting a clear product direction and owning ‘the last mile’, bringing to life how he’s done this at the Hg businesses he chairs. Carrie Osman, CEO & Founder of Cruxy, and Christopher Maloof, Chair of Benevity, explored why deep customer understanding is now the true advantage for product leaders. We also heard from product leaders from across the portfolio – including Ashley Sakai Berenson, Derek Bluestone, Jay Jamison, Wes Childs, Travis A. – on how they have reshaped their teams and approach to what great product management looks like in the age of AI – from embedding deep workflow discovery, rapid prototyping and inclusion of telemetry into every build, to early alignment with GTM and customers teams to successfully build, launch, and drive adoption of new products. Across the sessions and discussions, one thing was clear: the CPO role is expanding – from delivery to cross-functional orchestration, from roadmap management to reinvention. The opportunity is vast, and the imperative to accelerate our businesses toward true product-led, AI-enabled growth has never been more critical. Thank you to everyone for the depth and candour you brought to the conversations. We look forward to continuing this dialogue with our CPO community as we build the next generation of products together. Jay Jamison liked thisJay Jamison liked this10 years ago, I joined JPMorganChase as a Technical Lead with curiosity, ambition, and a desire to build meaningful technology. Today, as I complete a decade with the firm, I look back with immense gratitude for the opportunities, challenges, people, and experiences that shaped my journey. Over these years, I had the privilege to grow from a Technical Lead to an Engineering Manager, and now into leading Strategic AI Programs focused on AI Scaling and enterprise transformation initiatives within AI4Tech. One of the most exciting parts of this journey has been leading large-scale AI initiatives, including the rollout and scaling of Claude Code across the organization. Working at the intersection of AI, engineering productivity, developer experience, governance, platform scalability, and enterprise adoption has been an incredible learning experience. From driving AI scaling discussions across engineering ecosystems, enabling telemetry & observability, supporting developer productivity transformation, collaborating across cyber, platform engineering, data, and infrastructure teams — this journey has completely transformed the way I think about technology leadership and innovation at scale. Beyond titles and programs, the biggest achievement has been the relationships and network built over the years. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some brilliant minds, supportive leaders, and amazing teams across the globe who continuously pushed me to grow. These 10 years taught me: • Leadership is built through trust, consistency, and ownership • AI transformation is not only about tools — it’s about operating model change • Execution and resilience matter more than perfect plans • Continuous learning is the only sustainable advantage in the AI era • Strong relationships and collaboration create long-term impact Coming from a humble background and getting the opportunity to contribute to strategic AI transformation at enterprise scale feels deeply meaningful and humbling. This milestone is not just about completing 10 years — it’s about the journey of growth, reinvention, learning, and preparing for the next decade of innovation. Grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. Excited for what lies ahead. #JPMorgan #AI #AIScaling #AI4Tech #Leadership #Engineering #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #ClaudeCode #DeveloperExperience #ProgramManagement #FinTech

Jay Jamison liked thisJay Jamison liked thisEvery week you spend hours on a report or update that should take 20 minutes. You'll pull from email, slack, a doc here, a spreadsheet there, meeting notes, CRM, dashboards; trying to remember what happened, writing it up, and sending it out. And then you do it again… and again… and again. Customer health scorecards. Investor updates. Marketing updates. Sprint trackers. Status reports. You’ve always believed there has to be a better way - something that automates away the toil. So you’ve tried AI - ChatGPT, Claude, maybe even OpenClaw - and are seeing some benefits. But somehow it still doesn’t feel quite right. You spend time copying and pasting just to get an answer. You get it working once, but keeping it working is starting to take more time than it saves. You’re frustrated because it still forgets basic things about you, your work and your company. If this sounds like you, we’re expanding our private preview and we’d love to have you try Surfboard (www.surfboard.ai). It connects to the tools you use every day, helps you quickly find what you’re looking for, automates common tasks, and most importantly keeps your reports and updates always current - turning hours of frustration into time you can invest in the business. If you’re interested, message me directly or email to hello@surfboard.ai, tell us what you’d like to automate, and we’ll see if we can help. All you need to get started is a Google or Microsoft account.

Jay Jamison liked thisJay Jamison liked thisWhat a week for Quickbase. Last Tuesday, we launched Pave, our new full-stack AI app builder. IT/OT leaders are done with being sold “AI magic” that fails to turn into something real, production-ready, and scalable. They're frustrated with the side effects of vibe coding experimentation: shadow IT sprawl, hidden token costs, and broken spaghetti code. These conversations tell me everything I need to know. The AI prototype honeymoon is over. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 Pave is not a 'bolt-on AI' release – it’s a new standard for vibe coding, built on decades of experience running software securely and at enterprise scale. Pave eliminates the operational tax of traditional development. It’s for the people doing the work and the people accountable for the outcome. It gives the people closest to the work the agency to build and actually deploy apps that support their processes. People are exhausted by the cycle of vibe coding: tools that look slick in a demo but crash and burn the second they touch real-world data or a security audit. There's no more time for vague “future of possibilities.” Teams need something that finishes the job. I believe that progress is built from small steps forward, from a mindset of continuous transformation. The rest of the industry can keep their prototypes. We’re building for the reality of work. If you’re ready to stop demo-ing and start deploying, let’s talk. https://lnkd.in/g4CnpiHR

Jay Jamison liked thisJay Jamison liked thisThere’s a lot of AI content right now that feels like a magic trick. ✨ “Look, I built an app in 30 seconds.” Cool. Now what? What I loved about this project with Pave, Quickbase's new full-stack AI app builder, was that we focused on the part most people skip: operational reality. Governance. Visibility. Approval flows. Role-based access. The stuff that determines whether an app actually survives past the demo. As we geared up for the Pave launch, I joined a terrific tiger team of CSMs — Skye Ellis, Dee De La Cruz, and Michael Bolognese — to reimagine a use-case we hear about constantly from customers looking to stay agile. That’s how the Request Governance Hub was born. The whole experience reinforced something I believe pretty strongly: AI shouldn’t just help teams move faster. It should help them move forward without creating more chaos behind the scenes. With Pave, we were able to start with the workflow, build in phases, prompt without the technical jargon, and iterate fast once the foundation was there. Once we got rolling, things really started to pave themselves. 😏 🛣️ If you’re thinking beyond “vibe coding” and into how AI actually fits into enterprise operations, this will be a fun read: https://lnkd.in/e-buhNe4 #Quickbase #Pave #AI #WorkflowAutomation #Operations #DigitalTransformationPave | Change Request Management System | QuickbasePave | Change Request Management System | Quickbase

Just read a piece from the team at Camber Creek portfolio company Proof on the evolving state of authentication…and it hit home. For years I’ve been thinking “passwords are dead,” but also lamenting the difficulty navigating the labyrinthine world of advanced security. This blog lays out exactly what’s replacing passwords in a way that’s practical, not just theoretical. Five methods stood out: - App-based authenticators finally killing SMS (good riddance, SIM-swap nightmares) - Continuous authentication that watches behavior during the session (the “someone stole the cookie but can’t act like you” protection we’ve all been missing) - Adaptive authentication that doesn’t treat grandma on her usual iPad the same as a login from a Tor exit node in a new country - MFA done right (and then taken further with verified digital certificates) - Biometrics with actual liveness + document tying, so it’s not just “a face” but your verified face What really resonated was the reminder that the strongest systems aren’t about piling on more factors; they’re about using the right factor at the right moment. Risk-based, context-aware, and (crucially) user-respecting. I’m biased but Proof’s angle of anchoring everything to high-assurance digital certificates feels like the missing glue. It’s one thing to authenticate someone at login; it’s another to carry that verified identity forward through the entire session, signature, or transaction. This one is worth the read. A lot of banks do nCino right at first. Then lending volume grows. Teams evolve. Policies change. But the configuration stays mostly the same. That’s when you start seeing • Credit memos taking longer • More manual handoffs • “Temporary” workarounds becoming permanent It’s rarely a platform issue. It’s usually a sign the system hasn’t been re-aligned to how the business operates today. This is exactly why we’re offering a focused 1-hour strategy session with our nCino experts, just to pressure-test where friction exists and what to do about it. The world has never felt this uncertain. Great companies have lost half their value in a year. Entire org charts are getting rewritten by AI. We just lived through the SaaS-pocalypse, where “durable” stopped meaning what people thought it meant. Which is why this moment at Plaid feels so special. Plaid just raised additional capital at an $8B valuation to help support employee liquidity. I’ve been here for 8+ years. Long enough to see hype cycles come and go. Long enough to live through multiple “this is the end of fintech” narratives. Long enough to learn the difference between a company that looks strong in a screenshot and a company that stays strong when the weather turns. When I joined, maybe 1 in a hundred Americans had ever used Plaid. Today, well over 1 in 2 have. Back then, I had to explain to friends and family what it even meant to “link your bank account to an app.” Today, a lot of new grads joining Plaid have never managed money online without seeing Plaid in the flow. For them, paying for daycare, buying a car, and applying for a mortgage, is digital by default. And Plaid has quietly been the network making it work. Durability doesn’t always make the headlines, but I’m proud of it. Proud of the team that kept building through the hard parts, grateful for our customers who trusted us, pushed us, and held us to a higher bar, and to our investors who believed in the long term vision. This has never been a flash-in-the-pan company. Trust is earned slowly and lost quickly. And yet, year after year, Plaid got stronger. In a time when the rug is getting pulled out from so many companies who were darlings of industry just a few years ago, it’s been amazing (and honestly, still a little surprising) to be part of something that I can truly say will be around for decades to come. Next play!

🔐 Thrilled to share a major launch from boldstart ventures portfolio company Keycard - Keycard for Coding Agents. Every coding agent right now is running in god mode. Your credentials. Your permissions. No guardrails. Developers click "Allow" 50 times an hour until they stop reading...or use dangerously-skip-permissions and pray. Static API keys in .env files. Agents with admin access when they need read on one endpoint. Keycard fixes this: 🔑 Four-part identity: user, agent, runtime, task - for every session ⚡ Short-lived, scoped credentials gone when the session ends 🛡️ Step-up approval for sensitive ops, autonomous for routine 🔗 One command across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenClaw Agents aren't humans and they aren't workloads. The identity layer has to be rebuilt from the ground up. That's what Keycard is doing. Proud to have backed this team at inception. Early access live → keycard.ai 🚀 Congrats Ian Livingstone, Jared Hanson, Matthew Creager and team! Here is a summary - A Players (10-20%): High performers who exceed expectations and solve problems proactively - found at any level, including driven juniors who learn rapidly - B Players (70-80%): Reliable performers meeting expectations, forming organizational backbone - includes experienced staff, some with A-player potential - C Players (10%): Persistent underperformers requiring excessive oversight - not about inexperience but ongoing performance issues despite feedback Key differentiators: A players seek feedback (constantly), take risks, mentor others, and achieve goals resourcefully - traits that transcend seniority Talent implications: Invest in A players, develop B players, address C players decisively - junior A players often outperform senior B/C players. Whats critical to understand is how this relates to hiring - since the frameworks lends itself better to evaluating existing teams Here are some things to think about - A player does NOT mean senior- someone straight out college can be an A player - A track record of past performance and going above and beyond is a good indicator of future behavior and results - Time spent on C players is time poorly spent - over and over again this is the biggest mistake that managers and leaders make. The data tells you that it's not a good use of your time - spend time with the A and B players and get acceleration. Spend time with C players and get lower productivity How do you think about hiring and talent?

Seth Levine nailed it! The concentration problem isn't just a GP pain point... it's choking innovation. When capital pools around the same 20 funds, emerging managers and founders get shut out. Love that he's using his platform to call this out. Foundry has backed 50+ emerging managers. That's the diversification the ecosystem needs. This is exactly why Carta exists — making capital allocation visible and accessible. Capital Evolution hits at exactly the right moment. Thanks for having us Daniel Dart. Team Carta loves the community of FUTURE TITANS you have built 🚀

We're tracking to do 15 million+ annual appointments on Commure Ambient by EOY and are processing billions in payments through our RCM platform. We look forward to accelerating the AI transformation of healthcare in hospital systems, and physician-owned practices alike. Deepika, Dhruv, Hersh and I are excited to be partnering closely with Pranav Singhvi, Hemant Taneja, and the whole General Catalyst team as we scale.
