Jacob Lindman reposted thisJacob Lindman reposted thisFor years, Calm has helped millions of people find better rest and moments of calm through world-class content. But soothing content is only one part of a great night’s sleep. It’s why I’m incredibly proud to announce the Calm Bedding Collection, our first-ever bedding line, now available exclusively at Target. This represents a massive milestone for us as we continue to expand the Calm brand beyond digital and into physical products. To start, the collection includes: • The Cold Foam & Ultra Cooling Pillows, designed with responsive memory foam and heat-adapting technology. • Signature Linen Sprays in four scents – Lavender, Sandalwood, Eucalyptus, and (my personal favorite) Rain on Leaves – to anchor your nighttime ritual. More products, such as sheets and satin pillows, are coming later this year. Even better? Every purchase comes with a free 30-day Calm or Calm Sleep Premium subscription, creating the ultimate bedtime experience people will look forward to each night. A huge thank you to the team at Target (Kayli Stackpool, Meghan Glotfelty Avery Wolff), and Allied Home (Moshe Abehsera, Amanda Keller, Jacey Ferraro, Nate Hascalovici, CPA) for partnering with us to bring this to life. And of course, the entire team at Calm! You can find the collection now at Target.com and in stores rolling out over the next few weeks: https://lnkd.in/gD3kvU2d Sweet dreams!

In her honor, I invite you to support Madison’s Closet, a nonprofit serving women and families navigating the heartbreak of perinatal loss — including stillbirth, miscarriage, and infant loss. This year, our ambitious goal is to raise $10,000 by asking friends and supporters to donate just $10. Jacob Lindman shared this✨ Calm has launched a new app! ✨ With Calm Sleep, we’re expanding our ecosystem across sleep, health, and wellbeing — building tools to support every step of your mental health journey. 🌙Jacob Lindman shared thisSleep has been at the core of Calm for nearly a decade, and today we’re expanding how we support people in getting better rest and caring for their mental health. Introducing Calm Sleep, our first standalone app designed entirely for sleep. With Calm Sleep, we’ve taken what people love most about Calm, from Sleep Stories to music and soundscapes, and expanded to deliver a deeper, more personalized sleep experience to help people fall asleep faster, sleep more soundly, and wake up refreshed. The app provides daily plans with expert-backed tools and world-class content to strengthen both daytime habits and nighttime routines, all tailored to your own goals and habits. And this is just the beginning. We’re already working on new features and offerings, and we can’t wait to hear feedback as we continue to grow. Jacob Lindman reposted thisJacob Lindman reposted thisMental health shouldn’t come with a maze of barriers. Yet for too many people around the world, it still does. That’s why I’m proud to share Calm Health is expanding internationally, launching in the UK and Canada to start, with more countries on the horizon. This is more than geographic growth. It is a step forward in our mission to make mental health support intuitive, accessible, and effective, wherever people are. We’ve heard time and again from employers: people can’t benefit from what they can’t find. If support is hard to access or sift through, we can’t expect meaningful engagement or real outcomes. With Calm Health, we’ve built a model that works. It integrates with existing employer and health plan ecosystems to simplify access, increase engagement, and close care gaps. In the U.S., where Calm Health already reaches more than 17 million people, we’ve seen it help more people start their mental health journey earlier, connect to the right support faster, and stick with it. Now, we are bringing that model to more of the world. This is about scaling what works so companies can better support their local and global teams, wherever and whenever they need it. https://lnkd.in/g4EjZ289Calm Health Expands Globally, Starting with UK and CanadaCalm Health Expands Globally, Starting with UK and Canada

Jacob Lindman liked thisJacob Lindman liked thisAfter six years of building, growing, and leading audio and video production at Calm, I’m ready for a new challenge: consulting! At Calm, I grew and standardized Sleep Stories, launched new daily video programs like Daily Move and Moment of Calm, and pioneered AI tools that cut mixing costs by more than half with Respeecher’s Neural Restoration technology. Over the past 20 years, people often turned to me for answers, plans, standards, and guidance because I’m always learning and staying up to date. It’s a natural next step to start my own consulting practice. I offer focused consulting, team workshops, and ongoing support to help you meet your production goals. My services include integrating generative audio and video workflows, workflow analysis to redesign for efficiency and scalability, building custom style guides and quality standards, and translating technical needs into compelling business cases for leadership. I tailor our engagement by listening closely to your team's specific needs and challenges, so I can provide recommendations that work for you. Here’s something you can try right now: choose one part of your workflow that feels repetitive or takes up too much time, like cleaning up dialogue. Write down each step in that process. When you see it all laid out, you might spot ways to automate or standardize your work. This also makes it easier to explain to your team and leadership what you need to keep things moving. If this resonates with you, please repost it and share it with your networks. Your support helps me reach more people who can benefit from my help. tommywingo.com

Jacob Lindman liked thisJacob Lindman liked thisPayment networks are adapting to move digital money between not just humans, but humans to agents and agents to humans. AI agents are moving from answering questions *for humans to executing tasks, coordinating workflows, and making decisions that trigger real economic activity *on behalf of humans. Execution requires money movement. Legacy financial rails were architected around human identity, institutional trust, batch settlement cycles, and jurisdictional boundaries. They assume business hours, intermediaries, and manual compliance review. Autonomous AI assumes none of those things. It operates continuously. It coordinates globally. It requires programmable, machine-readable value transfer embedded directly into code. Stablecoins are the first payment solution that actually matches those requirements in the AI era: • programmable settlement logic for AI to coordinate with humans • real-time clearing for AI with AI • global interoperability that spans time zones and infrastructure • ledger-native auditability by humans When capital becomes software-native, cost structures compress and iteration cycles tighten dramatically. Agents can deploy capital in micro-increments, test strategies in real time, and optimize spend paths with full telemetry across every transaction. That leads to: • faster build-measure-learn loops per dollar deployed • structurally lower marginal cost to serve • granular financial instrumentation across workflows • new platform advantages for companies that own the spend path Controlling the payment flow increasingly means controlling the workflow. Most investors are still underwriting AI as a software productivity story. The deeper and broader opportunity may be underwriting AI as autonomous economic actors. In that world, stablecoins become a trusted monetary layer that allows AI to participate natively in the global economy.

Jacob Lindman liked thisMultiplayer AI transforms collaboration workflows with 10-100x human augmentation. What does “multiplayer AI“ mean? We have created a social network of AI clones of the top experts in the world. We can spin up AI clones simply by typing in a name of a public individual. Our network of AI clones then extends our human team capacity to go deep on non consensus views. This is our investment edge that matters most in AI Native early stage investing. The future is AI compounding our conviction, especially in times of volatility and change, so founders and VCs can pressure test a view of reality, drive at AI enabled execution faster and build products with greater clarity. Our team is ambitious to compound our market leadership in building AI. Great to chat with Robbie Klages at The Rollup in San Francisco on how our AI OS and RLEN leads the venture investment industry.Jacob Lindman liked thisI spoke with Paul Hsu, CEO of Decasonic, and asked how they maximize the value of all the data they're capturing. Jacob Lindman liked thisMost people see AI for kids as personalized stories. That framing is too small. The bigger opportunity is persistent character memory, evolving worlds, and children as creators instead of passive consumers. The generative AI opportunity is to create less to consume. When a story remembers you and grows with you, it becomes a generative platform. John Kobs and the Giant team understand this deeply. As a girl dad, he lives the customer experience every day, at home, on playgrounds and at school pickup. It’s a conversation we parents have everyday about preparing our kids for the world of AI. That perspective shows up in the product and in the ambition behind it. As a girl dad, I can relate. That is why we backed Giant. Our new research shows that 89% of finance and accounting leaders say that we’re expected to be more strategic. But here's the disconnect: 70% say outdated tech is standing in the way. @Zuora’s latest Modern Finance Leader report also found: - 93% of us are prioritizing AI in new finance tech investment but 79% say we're still buried in manual work. - In SaaS, 100% say manual reconciliation is blocking strategic focus. - We’re also seeing the pressure build in complex areas like Order-to-Cash. 95% of SaaS finance leaders say tech gaps are slowing them down, and 94% are forced to reject non-standard deals because of it. These aren’t just operational headaches. They’re roadblocks to growth, accuracy, and agility. To get ahead, these same leaders need to take the lead: clarify O2C ownership, modernize our tech stacks, and make sure AI isn’t just a buzzword. It’s delivering real value. The structural Accounting talent gap in California isn’t just a hiring problem anymore - it’s becoming a core business risk. In-house finance and accounting teams are being asked to do more with less while facing: --Increasingly complex California-specific regulations (DFPI, tax, privacy) layered on top of federal rules --Rising expectations for internal controls, documentation, and audit readiness --Higher scrutiny over how prices, fees, and financial disclosures are governed and communicated The CPA and accountant shortage means fewer qualified people to handle this growing workload, which can increase the risk of errors, burnout, and missed compliance issues. At the same time, auditors are under pressure to be more skeptical and thorough, particularly for California-heavy operations, which only adds to the burden on lean internal teams. As a result, companies are prioritizing finance talent that brings more than transactional skills. They’re looking for professionals who can: --Navigate California regulatory and tax complexity --Build and maintain strong controls, documentation, and audit support --Leverage technology to automate close, reconciliations, and reporting --Partner with leadership on risk, pricing, product, and market-entry decisions At Peak Experience Talent Search, we focus on helping California businesses find the senior accountants, controllers, and finance leaders who can operate in this environment - balancing compliance, efficiency, and strategy.

One of the hardest phases for most accounting firms striving to grow is that 8-20 person range when they hit the "scaling plateau". That's when complexity creeps in, profitability dips, and leaders hit their limit. As Ian Vacin and Jason M. Blumer, CPA share in their book, 'Scale With Purpose', growth is a series of intentional decisions about people, capacity, and structure ✅ If you're feeling overwhelmed as a leader, that's not a phase to push through and hope for the best. It's the signal to reevaluate how you're building. It might be time for a change. If you're currently navigating that next stage of growth, this is an article you should read👇 https://lnkd.in/gpccYmfJ.

CFOs know compensation is their largest expense. A common mistake is treating it only as a cost. When managed strategically, it drives performance, retention, and competitive strength — and ultimately positions the business to scale. https://lnkd.in/et2sZdRQ

What a good Fractional CFO actually does (and doesn’t do). There’s often confusion about what a Fractional CFO is meant to be. It’s not a part-time Finance Director who produces prettier reports. And it’s not a temporary stand-in until you “hire someone proper”. A good Fractional CFO focuses on decisions. Scenario planning. Cash visibility. Margin mechanics. Investor narrative. The work sits at the intersection of finance and strategy. A Fractional CFO isn't in the business all the time. Well duh.... . But because of this they focus in on the stuff that matters. What's the cash runway? What metrics does the business need to guide and direct? What information are investors looking for right now? They don't have the time to pay too much attention to matters like chasing invoices, reconciling accounts or firefighting basic processes. Yes these are important and it matters that your Fractional CFO understands what the processes are. But if these processes are broken in some way, the structure underneath probably needs attention. Fractional works because it concentrates senior thinking where it has the most leverage. You get experience applied to the moments that matter — hiring, fundraising, pricing, sequencing — without that full-time overhead. It's about getting someone experienced who can take that helicopter view of your business and apply a fresh professional perspective on your business. It’s not about doing less finance. It’s about doing the right finance at the right level. #FractionalCFO #SaaS #AIEnabled

AI is often framed as a cost-cutting tool...but I believe its biggest impact is on decision quality. For finance leaders, that shows up in better forecasting under uncertainty, clearer trade-offs, and more focused board conversations. Not because decisions are automated, but because signals are sharper. Used well, AI does not replace judgement. It strengthens it. #CFO #AIinFinance #Leadership #DecisionMaking #StrategicFinance

One of the biggest mistakes: trying to be everything to every client. Firms that scale without burnout master strategic partnerships. Not for revenue, but for filling service gaps without stretching thin. The 2025-2026 Tax Planning Guide breaks down revenue-generating partnerships (referral fees from specialty firms) vs. non-revenue partnerships (collaborating with real estate professionals for 1031 exchanges). Keys to making partnerships work: → Stick to core competencies → Follow Circular 230 guidelines → Be transparent with clients → Choose partners who share your values Strategic partnerships enhance client outcomes AND protect reputation. 👉 Download the framework: https://lnkd.in/ge_ZDGUN #TaxPros #StrategicPartnerships #FirmGrowth #CPACommunity

CFOs aren’t short on strategy. They’re short on trusted data. In conversations with finance leaders over the past few months, one pattern keeps showing up. Teams have strong FP&A talent, solid ERPs, and no shortage of dashboards. Yet the same metrics still change from report to report. Forecasts quietly break each month. Board decks require last-minute reconciliation. The problem usually isn’t planning. It’s the data layer underneath it. When financial and operational data isn’t standardized and refresh-safe, every downstream effort struggles. FP&A spends time reconciling instead of analyzing. Reporting becomes harder to defend. AI initiatives stall before they start. At Brillifi, we focus on that layer first. We help finance teams build a clean, durable data backbone so every number means the same thing across ERPs, billing systems, spreadsheets, and models. When that foundation is in place, something shifts. Forecasts hold. Reporting stabilizes. Finance teams get time back to focus on insight, not cleanup. The future of finance isn’t just better tools or smarter models. It’s building the data once and using it everywhere. #CFO #FPandA #FinanceData
