Yina Mersy, MBA shared thisFeeling grateful to be on this journey with the Neuron Factory team as they reach this major funding milestone and welcome an exceptional group of new investors, including Zacua Ventures, Trimble Ventures, and Imad Ventures. The past few weeks have been an intense, heads down push across product, finance, and customer conversations alongside Zaid Kahn, Salil Pandit, and William Wilson, and it has been especially rewarding to see that work translate into real momentum for the next stage of growth. Huge credit to the entire team behind the scenes who made this happen! 👏 👏 👏 Onwards and upwards with this team! 🚀 🚀 🚀 #NeuronFactory #ConstructionTech #ConTech #ArtificialIntelligence #EnterpriseSoftware #StartupGowth #VentureCapitalYina Mersy, MBA shared this🚀 Big News: Strategic Investment Announced We're thrilled to share Zacua Ventures, Trimble Ventures, Suffolk Technologies, Imad Ventures, and Colle Capital have invested in Neuron Factory. The opportunity: Construction is a $14 trillion industry where projects succeed or fail long before breaking ground. Pre-construction—where risk is priced and contracts are signed—remains fragmented: thousands of documents reviewed manually, under pressure, by siloed teams. Our solution: The world's first construction-focused enterprise knowledge graph. Not just another workflow tool, but the foundational intelligence substrate for AI agents across the construction lifecycle. We're already in production with some of the world's largest construction companies, and they’re using us for: ➡️ At-scale risk assessment ➡️ Discrepancy analysis of drawings across disciplines ➡️ Conflict identification from first project meeting to production handoff ➡️ Seamless integration with existing tools — no digital overhaul or extensive data preparation required This investment accelerates our mission to transform how the industry evaluates, selects, and wins projects. That shared commitment is what makes milestones like reaching $50 million raised and becoming Pelotonia’s largest all‑time supporter so meaningful, and what gives this work real impact for patients and families. As Huntington co‑executive sponsor, it has been rewarding to be part of this journey and to work alongside colleagues who continue to turn purpose into action year after year. Yina Mersy, MBA reacted on thisYina Mersy, MBA reacted on thisWe’re proud to share that Document Crunch is being acquired by Trimble Inc.. 🚀 🚀 🚀 Document Crunch was Zacua Ventures’ very first investment back in March 2022. At the time, the company was just getting started, and we were fortunate that Josh Levy chose to partner with us among multiple term sheets. From day one, the relationship was grounded in trust, close collaboration, and a shared ambition to build something meaningful for the construction industry. Over the past four years, the team has executed exceptionally, building a category-defining platform in AI-driven contract risk analysis, helping construction companies better understand obligations, reduce disputes, and operate with greater confidence. Today marks an important milestone in that journey. We’re excited to see Document Crunch join the Trimble family, where it will continue scaling its impact across the U.S. and internationally. This moment is especially meaningful for us, as it comes just as Zacua Ventures celebrates its fourth anniversary. Seeing our very first investment reach this milestone at the same time is a strong signal of the path we’re on. It reinforces our core belief that physical industries, long overlooked by technology, are now at an inflection point. Companies like Document Crunch are not just improving workflows; they are redefining how entire industries operate: reducing risk, lowering claims, and enabling a more efficient and transparent way of doing business. This is exactly why we exist. We’re grateful to Josh and the entire Document Crunch team for the partnership, and excited to see what comes next. Vivin Hegde Mauricio Tessi Weiss Juan N. Yina Mersy, MBA liked thisYina Mersy, MBA liked thisNeuron Factory has announced a strategic investment round from construction technology and architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) investors Zacua Ventures, Trimble Ventures, Suffolk Technologies, Imad Ventures, and existing investors, including Colle Capital. The investment will be used to accelerate the delivery of the world’s first construction-focused knowledge graph and AI-native platform for the construction industry. Pre-construction is where construction projects are interpreted, risk is priced, and contracts are signed. Yet today the process remains deeply fragmented: thousands of documents reviewed manually under time pressure, by siloed teams with limited shared context. The company’s AI-powered preconstruction platform, designed to streamline workflows, augment teams, and boost productivity across complex, large-scale construction projects, has already been deployed in production by some construction and building technology companies. Unlike point solutions, Neuron Factory’s knowledge graph architecture models relationships and dependencies among documents, teams, and decisions, enabling a level of reasoning that keyword or semantic search alone cannot achieve. Zaid Kahn, CEO and co-founder of Neuron Factory, said, "We’re excited to be building an AI-native platform that provides intelligence that is not just tuned to the needs of each company, but is able to work within their organisation seamlessly. With the first-ever enterprise knowledge graph for construction, we are able to provide meaningful context to support project managers in making better decisions, increasing efficiency, and enabling productivity.” Chris Stern, Parker Mundt, Tatiana I. Yina Mersy, MBA liked thisYina Mersy, MBA liked thisThree years ago we published our first #Construction #Robotics report. Back then, it was mostly pilots, prototypes, and promise. A lot has changed. And honestly, this is the area of construction tech I get most excited about. Today, robots are repeat tools on real jobsites — in layout, solar piling, rebar tying, and reality capture. Not on every project, but enough that we can now measure actual ROI, document what works, and learn from what doesn't. Having spent years on jobsites and in construction technology, seeing these machines go from conference demos to actual production tools has been something else. We just published our 2026 Construction Robotics Report together with Hilti Ventures and Nine Four Ventures. It covers: → A bottom-up market sizing ($3-5B today, growing at ~20% CAGR) → $1.36B in venture funding in the first three quarters of 2025 alone — up 125% YoY → Four workflows where robots are genuinely in production today → What's actually inside these machines and where the real technical edge comes from → Deployment patterns that work vs. the ones that don't → A practical playbook for GCs, trades, OEMs, and founders The big takeaway: the winners focus on bounded, high-utilization tasks. They do a narrow job extremely well, run often, and plug into existing workflows. The next frontier isn't locomotion — it's manipulation. Precise drilling, fastening, and assembling in messy, real-world conditions. Humanoids are hype. Task robots are real. Full report here: https://lnkd.in/gukCtAUb Huge thanks to the team — Varad Mohod, Margarita de la Peña Virgós — and our co-authors Subham Kedia at Hilti Ventures and Kurt Ramirez and Avi Pradhan at Nine four Ventures for making this happen. #constructionrobotics #contech #robotics #AI #construction #venturecapital #infrastructure

Before you push for rapid growth, make sure your systems are ready. If your business isn't optimized, small inefficiencies can become big, expensive problems as you scale. Even something as simple as shortening your cash flow cycle by seven days can free up a significant amount of working capital. Growth is exciting—but smart, strategic growth is what builds lasting success. #Abunden #BusinessGrowth #CFO #FinancialManagement #CashFlow

What does a disciplined SaaS funding journey look like? In this episode of The SaaS CFO Podcast, I sat down with Rishi Grover, Co-founder & Chief Solutions Architect at Vena Solutions, to break down their path from early traction to raising over $500M—and what comes next. 💡 Key insight: Raising capital is just one part of the journey—how you deploy it and transition to sustainability matters even more. Rishi shares how Vena: 🚀 Built early momentum in a highly competitive market 💸 Raised multiple rounds—from Series A to a $300M Series C ⚖️ Transitioned to operating at cash flow breakeven while still pursuing growth opportunities It’s a great example of evolving from venture-backed growth to disciplined scaling, while still keeping optionality for the future. How To SaaS

Founders are often optimistic about growth. Sometimes, that confidence leads to funding ideas that don't fully pan out. Royalty-based growth capital is structured to limit downside risk compared to traditional venture-backed paths. Vik Thapar of Cypress Growth Capital explains that, even if outcomes fall short of early expectations, founders often still exit with meaningful results because they retain the majority of ownership. 🎙️ Tune into the Private Equity Value Creation Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gxkEsH3Z 👇🏽 Find Us Here https://lnkd.in/gTdPMk8P #privateequity #privateequitypodcast #privateequityvaluecreation

🎉 Proud to share that BetterComp has raised $33M in Series A funding, led by Ten Coves Capital! 🎉 Alan, Derek, and Sandra have built quietly and intentionally, focused on creating the kind of platform compensation teams have always deserved: fast, flexible, and actually built around how comp work happens. Along the way, BetterComp earned trust across some of the most complex enterprise clients - all without needing institutional capital. Until today! This raise is about accelerating what’s already working, and going faster: ⚙️ Investing in a rich AI experience that augments comp workflows 📈 Expanding access to execution tools for lean, high-growth teams 🏗️ Strengthening the foundation that supports the most complex enterprise needs - with performance to match. As a CFO and someone who’s spent nearly a decade in this space, I’ve seen firsthand how much compensation work still depends on outdated tools, disconnected processes, and brittle systems. Getting it right matters. Not just for business outcomes, but for fairness, trust, and transparency across the entire organization. The future of comp is real-time, intelligent, and human-centered. And we’re building it. Grateful to our team for building with urgency and care. Grateful to our customers for their belief. And grateful to our investors for backing a big vision. 🚀🚀 Onward! https://lnkd.in/dp62z882 #compensation #bettercomp

The growth-stage CFO role is uniquely isolating. As you scale toward IPO, you're expected to deliver operational precision while managing board scrutiny, investor expectations, and rapid organizational change. Every quarter can feel like you're being re-interviewed for your job. The Circle founder, Mark Dempster, joined Megan Weis, CPA, MBA on the CFO Weekly podcast to unpack why peer infrastructure has become essential for CFOs navigating this stage. In the conversation, he talks through: • The hidden isolation of the CFO seat • Why vulnerability among peers is a strategic advantage • How shared “scar tissue” reshapes risk tolerance Listen here: 🎧 Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/e4MHz6px 🎧 YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eiBz6fdF 🎧 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/ebnycBi3 The Circle by Founders Circle Capital is a private community built specifically for growth-stage CFOs leading through scale. 51% of CFOs think they’ve adopted AI, but only 19% of their controllers agree. That’s a 32-percentage-point perception gap between the C-suite and the people actually doing the work. CFOs see automated dashboards, board commentary generators, and scenario modeling tools. Controllers see the same spreadsheet exports, manual data fixes, and number stitching they’ve always done before AI can even start its analysis. The tech isn’t the problem. However, the foundation definitely is. AI works great at the presentation layer. It makes beautiful reports. It generates sophisticated commentary. But if your underlying processes are still manual, you’ve just automated the last mile while ignoring the first nine. One controller put it perfectly: strategic commentary looks automated, but finance teams still export spreadsheets, fix data manually, and stitch together numbers before AI tools begin their work. This explains why 80% of CFOs plan to increase AI spending while their teams are drowning in the same manual work as before. You can’t dashboard your way out of broken processes. The companies getting AI right start with workflow automation, not reporting automation. They’re using AI to reconcile investor statements and process tax forms before they touch executive dashboards. If your finance team is still manually prepping data for your AI tools to analyze, you haven’t adopted AI. You’ve just added another step.

Ditch the Buzzwords: Investor Insights on Real Innovation, Expertise, and Traction for Business Success The latest insights from TechCrunch Disrupt’s investor panel hit home for anyone navigating competitive industries, not just in startups. Cut through the noise: if you are tempted to load your pitch or strategy with flashy buzzwords, think twice. Real innovation speaks for itself, as domain expertise and execution matter far more than surface level jargon. Three key expectations stood out. First, is there a truly significant problem and market opportunity? Investors (and strategic partners) don’t want small solutions, they want to see potential for transformative, scalable impact. Second, what makes you or your team uniquely qualified to succeed? In crowded markets, differentiation is not optional; it’s a competitive necessity. Third, validation: Whether through revenue, customer feedback, or any concrete proof, credibility is earned by showing real world traction. This thinking extends well past startup fundraising. In mature industries, such as financial process optimization, real differentiation comes from expertly tackling complex problems with the right people and right tools. It’s not just about being better it’s about enabling new and more efficient ways of working, and being honest about where you sit relative to your competitors. Different beats better. Finally, focus is critical, build your product and refine your core offering relentlessly. Stay connected to peers, keep learning, and don’t lose sight of the fundamentals: solving valuable problems, demonstrating expertise, and generating tangible results. #ThoughtLeadership #StartupStrategy #BusinessGrowth #Innovation #ProductDevelopment
