Shanee Ben-Zur posted thisMkay, I figured out why it's so hard to actually figure out how to implement AI for your specific GTM motion: It's because these are our main options for learning: A) 🌬️💨💨Listen to a wind bag person who says nothing but uses lots and lots of words. --:>Outcome: We gain no knowledge. We waste time. B)🍼 🐣 Listen/read to a very, very basic explanation that is too simplistic for what our program needs. --:>Outcome: If we're nascent, we gain some basic knowledge. If we're mid-tier, we get confirmation of what we already know. If we're advanced, we gain no knowledge, we feel waste of time. C)🤖 💻 Listen/read to a very, very technical explanation that requires an engineering background to understand. But, hides the real meat of how they built the underlying skills, just shows how all the skills work together in orchestration. --:>Outcome: non technical people's eyes glaze over and their minds start questioning every decision that led them to this moment. Technical people get excited and then frustrated becuase they realize that the flow is what they want, but it would only be applicatable if they could actually spend way more time with the speaker to see how they built all the underlying plumbing. Variant A+C)🌬️💻 Listen to someone who brags about their amazing "we replaced everyone at the company except me" case study but they don't tell you how they did it. They just tell you how great their life is and how much yours probably sucks. --:>Outcome: something between anger and sadness.

Shanee Ben-Zur posted this8 steps to improve your AI search results, courtesy of the smarties at Growth Unhinged: 1️⃣ Shift to pipeline influence as your metric. Stop measuring AI visibility/share-of-voice. Measure LLM-attributed signups, pipeline, or revenue. Visibility is table stakes now. 2️⃣ Solve the consistency problem. If different pages, posts, and off-site mentions describe your product differently, AI will describe you badly. Align everything around one core idea across your site, review sites, social, and PR. 3️⃣ Make key content structurally obvious. Put your most important pages and use cases in headers, footers, and top nav. Structural prominence — what you put in headers, subheaders, top nav, and footer — affects LLM citation rates. 4️⃣ Signal freshness. Adding a “last updated” date to pages drives roughly 15% more citations, as long as the page is actually getting updated with meaningful content 5️⃣ Go after long-tail, mid-funnel queries. The average ChatGPT query is 60 words vs. 3.4 words on Google. Create segmented pages for specific audiences and use cases. Top-of-funnel queries stay inside the LLM. Mid-funnel is where buyers are ready to act. 6️⃣ Mine discovery calls for content topics. Use call transcripts as your keyword research. Real buyer questions become content clusters. Secondary benefit: sales enablement material for outbound and follow-up. 7️⃣ Invest in YouTube. YouTube is now cited in 16% of LLM answers vs. 10% for Reddit. Video content is appearing in AI Overviews at meaningful rates. Diversifying beyond text is no longer optional. 8️⃣ Write content worth reading. Less than 20% of articles cited by ChatGPT are AI-generated; 80% are written by humans. LLMs prefer clear structure, specific answers, and no filler. Human-written content still outperforms AI content at scale.

Shanee Ben-Zur posted thisHere’s a fun thing to do with AI this weekend that has nothing to do with being more productive at work: So my special interests (iykyk) include fashion, makeup, and skincare. Much of my AI usage is centered around those topics. Recently, I built a prompt to determine your color season ❄️🌸🌞🍁. You know: are you a deep winter, cool spring….etc. the goal is to help someone figure out what colors look best with their complexion. From makeup to sweaters. The prompt gets AI to do analysis with reasoning, confidence levels, and a full hex-code palette of colors that are harmonious with your season so you can screenshot and take it shopping. One interesting thing that will likely not surprise the individuals most impacted: most AI seasonal color analysis tools have been trained on light skin tones, making them much less effective for darker skin tones. I tried to address this shortcoming by updating the prompt to use different observational methods for deeper complexions instead of just looking for pink or yellow in the skin and calling it a day. 🚨🚨Ready to do your color analysis???🚨🚨 1. Open Claude or ChatGPT (GPT-4o). Upload 5-10 photos of yourself. Mix of close-up face, no makeup if possible, natural lighting, and at least one or two full body shots. 2. Then paste the prompt I linked in the comment below. (Had to put it in a doc because it’s long)

In chrome, navigate to Gemini 2. In the top right of the Chrome window where the 3 vertical dots are, click and open the menu 3. Scroll down to "Cast, Save, and Share" and hover over the carrot 4. Select "Install Page as App" And, voila!! Gemini in your menu bar, can sit nicely next to your other AIs of choice.

Shanee Ben-Zur shared thisCan y'all link me to good libraries of Claude skills, prompts worth stealing, workflows worth copying? I hear about the cool applications people have, but I'm missing the critical piece of how I can duplicate those workflows. This is the one downside of this multi-tenant element of LLMs. There should be an option to opt more things into the "community" so that more folks can benefit. I think about enterprises who are creating these libraries for their employees and it's immediately 10x-ing the productivity of every employee who leverages the centralized resources. I want that...but centralized resources from THE WHOLE WORLD. Ok, thank you good night.

Admittedly, I’ve been focusing only on the “is it good” question. But I SHOULD be more interested in the “is it working.” Whether you use AI or not doesn’t matter if you’re not tracking if your content is actually doing anything for the business. Unfortch, most marketing teams aren’t. They’re measuring likes and impressions. But the metrics that really matter for early stage startups are: 1. Did this content generate a lead? 2. Did it shorten a sales cycle? 3. Did it move a deal between stages? If you can’t draw a line from your content to any of those things…your content-tree is falling in a forest and it’s not making a sound. So, what’s the last piece of content your marketing team created that actually moved a deal?
