There are too many people to mention, but I hold many of my former colleagues and friends in the highest regards. Golf, travel, gardening, biking, and relaxing with a good book are my next tasks.

Multiple on- and off-campus organizations partnered for the event, which raised more than $15,000 for the foundation. Kaylee Kramer, an English literature and language arts education major and president of the university's Active Minds chapter, organized the event. Serving as a quick reference for a former student. Sharing a specific resource or article that solves a niche problem. These moments cost us almost nothing, but for the recipient, they can be life-changing. Genuine networking isn't about "trading" favors; it's about adding value without expecting a scorecard. The best sales results rarely happen by accident. They happen because of preparation, consistency, and a team that is willing to put in the work long before the results show up. February was a huge month for our sales team at San Diego State Athletics, but the truth is the success started well before we officially went back on sale for football. From December through February 17, our team was preparing for launch while we finalized a major restructuring of our football pricing model. During that time, this group put in the work: 📞 19,643 calls 🤝 212 meetings 📊 25,752 total sales activities Then on February 18, we officially went live with our renewals and on February 25, we officially went live to our deposit holders and general public. And the results followed. In just 14 days, the team delivered: 🏟 1,400+ seats renewed ⭐ 34 new premium seats sold 🎟 193 new season memberships (227 seats) 🚀 111 seats sold on Day 1 alone (Feb 25) 📈 $25K+ in renewal upgrades 💰 $860K+ in total season ticket revenue for the 2026 football season I couldn’t be more proud of this group. They’ve fully bought into everything we’ve been implementing — pushing outside their comfort zones, getting into the community, attending networking events, hosting stadium tours, and continuing to elevate their performance month after month. With a 9–4 season last year, an undefeated record at home, and SDSU moving into the Pac-12, the momentum around Aztec Football is very real. On top of that, we made major adjustments to our pricing structure to make Aztec Football more accessible and strengthen the connection between our program and the San Diego community. And if February is any indication… This season is going to be special. To this incredible team — thank you for the work, the energy, and the belief in what we’re building. The NCAA has voted for a single transfer window, a change long overdue. Previously, the multiple entry points into the transfer portal created instability and potential for exploitation, like players being brought in and quickly jettisoned after spring practice. This also helps prevent situations where players demand more money right before key games. The transfer portal entry period has been reduced to 30 days, aiming to create a more stable and fair environment for college football programs and athletes alike.
