Olaf Franks reposted thisQuite real, indeed.Olaf Franks reposted thisTwo CEO studies dropped today. The numbers describe an enterprise AI buildout running at unprecedented speed. IBM Institute for Business Value (with Oxford Economics) surveyed 2,000 CEOs across 33 geographies, Feb-April 2026. Headline: 76% of organizations now have a Chief AI Officer, up from 26% a year ago. That's a 50-point jump in twelve months. 64% of CEOs comfortable making major strategic decisions with AI input. 83% say AI sovereignty is essential to business strategy. 25% of workforce regularly using AI vs 86% of CEOs believing employees have the skills. By 2030, CEOs expect 48% of operational decisions to be made by AI. Companies redesigning 5 core areas (tech/finance/HR/ops/cross-functional) are 4x more likely to deliver business objectives. BCG "Split Decision" Survey — 351 CEOs + 274 board members at $100M+ revenue companies. Headline: 61% of CEOs say their boards are rushing AI transformation. 75% of board members rate their AI knowledge as on par with or ahead of peers. 35% of CEOs say boards overestimate the human capabilities AI can replace. Average AI spend doubling — from 0.8% to 1.7% of revenues. The honest skepticism: both studies conducted by firms selling AI consulting (commercial framing bias). Selection bias on both samples. Self-rated knowledge data is unreliable. The "redesign 5 areas → 4x outcome" finding has correlation-causation issues. For DTC: enterprise AI buildout means the auctions you compete in are increasingly flooded with AI-generated creative at scale. The Friday piece on Hayati and Refy authenticity is the strategic answer. The CEO-board pressure dynamic mirrors founder-investor governance gaps in DTC. In the article: three transferable insights, three things to do this week, and the counterintuitive move while every operator is being told to "deploy more AI faster." Full breakdown in the article below. Two CEO Studies Dropped Today. 76% of Enterprises Now Have a Chief AI Officer (Up From 26% a Year Ago). 61% of CEOs Say Their Boards Are Pushing ThemTwo CEO Studies Dropped Today. 76% of Enterprises Now Have a Chief AI Officer (Up From 26% a Year Ago). 61% of CEOs Say Their Boards Are Pushing ThemJohn Parvu

Olaf Franks reposted thisOlaf Franks reposted thisEnterprise systems remember outcomes. They rarely remember decisions. Your CRM records the final price, approved contract, or settlement amount. But it rarely captures why those decisions were made. That reasoning often lives elsewhere in Slack threads, Zoom calls, or approval emails. It’s the invisible layer of context that actually drives business forward, decision dark matter. And capturing it is the next major frontier in AI. We’re seeing a clear evolution in enterprise intelligence: • Databases: What exists? • Knowledge graphs: How do things relate? • Context graphs: Why did this happen? If AI systems cannot explain the “why” behind decisions, they are operating on incomplete intelligence. In our latest Intelligent Workflows blog series, we explore why Context Graphs may be the missing layer in enterprise AI. https://lnkd.in/gQ76rRHu #EnterpriseAI #ContextGraphs #DataStrategy #AI #TechInnovation

Olaf Franks reposted thisGreat seeing our talented teams making such impact globally! fileAI is bringing insurance carriers to the next level 🚀Olaf Franks reposted thisFascinating session with MSIG Singapore's claims team at our fileAI #Spark event on how far AI has evolved and where GenAI is taking insurance next. 🚀 We're seeing a shift from traditional rule-based automation to intelligent systems that assist across the claims value chain. AI now supports motor and travel claims processing, baggage damage analysis, and helps triage routine cases from those requiring expert judgment. What previously required extensive manual review can now be accelerated significantly, with AI handling repetitive tasks while human experts focus on complex cases requiring nuanced decisions. The broader industry pattern is clear: intelligent systems that improve with each deployment cycle are reshaping claims processing efficiency and accuracy. But the real value isn't full automation; it's the hybrid model where AI augments human expertise rather than replacing it. Appreciate MSIG's partnership in exploring what's possible at this frontier. #InsurTech #GenAI #Insurance Christian Schneider 🚀 Clare Leighton Danny Centen Sherlyn Goh

Olaf Franks reposted thisOlaf Franks reposted thisAmazing session last week in #Miami where we discussed the #actual state of agentic AI within enterprise. On stage with leaders within J.P. Morgan and T. Rowe Price, we learned how they really use AI today, how they are looking to use it in the next couple of months, and what they believe will happen in the years ahead. The common narrative was that AI within the enterprise is slowly starting to make waves, but how to define and achieve #success is still unclear to many. Data availability & grounding, orchestration, hallucinations, validation, model selection, tool calling and more. We are still hearing about the same problems, even in March 2026. And that is not even considering #PromptInjection and #TextInjection risk. #Enterprises: partner with fileAI to de-risk and accelerate in-house AI deployment. Our platform provides the core AI capabilities, integration scaffolding, and production-grade infrastructure needed to shorten implementation cycles, reduce engineering lift, and move from pilot to production faster.. 🚀 P.S. We’ve learned that the right testing mechanism can be even more important than what you actually build. Message me if you want to hear more.

Olaf Franks reposted thisOlaf Franks reposted this#RAG’s biggest failure mode isn’t generation, it’s retrieval. In the real world, “the right answer” often lives in: • the wrongly named PDF • a referenced appendix • a diagram in another folder • a clause buried in an exhibit you didn’t retrieve That’s why at fileAI we don’t bet on one retrieval strategy. We run a multi-stage, dual-path pipeline that’s already built for messy enterprise file corpora: 1️⃣ Ingest & index - Parse and normalize - Smart chunking + embeddings for semantic recall - Metadata extraction (schema-based or auto-discovered) for deterministic filtering 2️⃣ Query-time prefiltering (speed) - Semantic search to narrow candidates fast - Metadata filters to reduce the search space even further (at the file level) 3️⃣ Agentic file search (accuracy) - Parallel scan → deep dive → backtracking - The agent follows cross-references to missed information and pulls it in when needed - Outputs include grounded references so teams can trust what’s returned Net result: fast retrieval, no missed data, but without treating embeddings as a silver bullet. If you’re building AI on top of files…this is the difference between a demo and something that holds up in production. Want to see what this looks like on your data? Olaf Franks reposted thisOlaf Franks reposted thisAI won’t fail because the models are weak. It will fail because trust is. Reading economist Corrine Low's new book 𝘏𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘈𝘭𝘭 got me thinking about trust: who we trust, what we trust, and how trust is built. As leaders, parents, and decision-makers, we’re increasingly relying on AI to inform choices. But AI is only as trustworthy as the data it’s trained on. For decades, research, corporate data, and organizational design have been shaped largely by male-led systems. Even today, we’re seeing reports of women exiting the workforce at record pace. If historical data reflects structural imbalance, and we train AI on that data without questioning it, what exactly are we scaling? AI doesn’t create bias. It amplifies what already exists. Which means the real leadership question isn’t “How powerful is the model?” It’s “How intentional are we about the data and assumptions behind it?” Trust in AI won’t come from better prompts. It will come from better judgment. With International Women’s Day coming up, this feels like an important conversation to have.

Olaf Franks reposted thisOlaf Franks reposted this#PromptInjection and simple text injection pose a significant risk for insurance carriers aiming to automate claims operations with AI. Anyone can now fudge information within 5minutes. With fileAI, carriers benefit from our #fileForensics feature, removing this threat altogether. Here’s how it works (and yes, it is out-of-the-box 🙂) 1️⃣ Data is grounded, analyzed, and formats are validated. [✅10% added protection] 2️⃣ Instant data consistency checks are initiated via our AI Schema, with cross-case referencing identifying unusual information and data relationships instantly. [✅40% added protection] 🚀 3️⃣ Our "bring-your-own SOP" workflow automates checks, and custom validations ensure carrier integrity. [✅20% added protection] 4️⃣ Basic fraud checks are provided out of the box, and carriers can connect to their own fraud databases or fraud database providers. [✅20% added protection] 5️⃣ Our validation buddy informs and alerts your teams as needed. [✅5% added protection] 6️⃣ Finally, a claims assessment utilizes validated data to generate reports, custom outputs, and integrates clean data into your end systems. Olaf Franks liked thisOlaf Franks liked thisHe didn’t have the money, but he had a vision and he refused to let go of it. When Howard Schultz decided he wanted to buy Starbucks, the asking price was $3.8 Million. He didn’t have the capital and the original owners didn’t want to sell at first. Eventually they agreed and he convinced others to believe in his vision and they helped him buy. What he did have was an obsessive belief in what Starbucks could become something far beyond coffee. So he did what most people never dare to do. He kept showing up. He pitched the vision again and again. He scraped together every connection, every call, every ounce of momentum he could build. And after months of rejection, he finally convinced a small group of investors to bet on him. He bought Starbucks without having the money upfront and he turned it into a brand that changed global culture. Most people stop at “I can’t afford it.” Founders who break through don’t stop until they find someone who believes enough to bridge the gap. Because vision backed by obsession is contagious, but only if you keep repeating it until it becomes real. Have you ever chased something before you were “ready”? #entrepreneurship #founderstory #startups #starbucks #leadership #capitalraising

Growth doesn’t slow down because of strategy. It slows down when your systems don’t talk to each other. ERP updates late. Distributor data comes in batches. Sales teams react to yesterday’s numbers. Disconnected systems quietly drain time, money, and momentum. FAIS syncs everything in real time, so your teams move faster, decide smarter, and execute without blind spots. Because integration isn’t IT hygiene. It’s a growth lever.

Turning market opportunity into an actionable account list requires more than surface-level technographics. That’s why Joe Hannum of Hyland relies on HG Insights data to support ICP development, market sizing, and AMB execution. After evaluating multiple data sources, his team needed depth across technographic, spend, and cloud data to feel confident in their decisions. That level of detail helps Hyland move from high-level GTM planning to clear account-level action, without having to second-guess data.
