Custom, subscription-oriented sticky CTAs have been crushing it on our LPs. IMO every single page needs to have it. -> People easily stray off & forget -> CTA is always within thumb reach -> Easy to make a purchase + subscribe If your LP copy is great, at some point people will be convinced and choose to buy. At this point, you need to make it as easy as possible to convert and go to the checkout. + ideally make them subscribe. Here's an example we did for Talo Skin.

Confession: Most influencer marketing is lazy 🤦‍♀️ And honestly? It deserves to be skipped. I was recently on a podcast where I said something that might ruffle some feathers: "Your creative is lazy. You deserve to have your ad skipped." Here's the brutal truth about what I see in our industry: The Lazy Approach:  → Mass emailing the same script to 500 creators → Zero personalization or creative tailoring → Stacking 5 ad reads in a row on podcasts → No onboarding calls with creators → Treating influencers like human billboards This all comes form agencies responding to brands racing to the bottom on paying the lowest agency fees. HINT: If an agency fee % feels too good to be true - it probably is. The Strategic Approach:  → Understanding what each creator's audience actually wants → Tailoring content to fit naturally into their style → Making the creator the only sponsor for that piece of content → Collaborative creative development → Investing in measuring real business impact, not just vanity metrics At Digital Voices, we have done a lot creatively exciting work that cuts through the noise on social. For our client Surfshark, we had creators in shark costumes, Colin Furze built a massive shark he could literally surf on, others do comedy skits and animations. Why? Because entertainment drives conversion. Authenticity builds trust. The result? We guarantee results to our clients. If we don't hit our numbers, we commission more content or refund our agency fee. Because lazy marketing shouldn't be rewarded. Bottom line: If your influencer content feels random, scripted, or interruptive - you're doing it wrong. Audiences are smart. Having handled 20+ acquisitions at my current firm, I've seen firsthand how mergers can turbocharge growth but only if you nail the branding integration. This article from Hinge Marketing dives deep into the challenges and strategies for creating a unified brand post-M&A, and it resonates with my experience. Key takeaways from the piece: Pursuing a "branded house" approach, where the acquired firm integrates fully under the parent brand (or as a specialized practice), simplifies market presence and unlocks cross-selling opportunities. But it demands upfront work to bridge cultural and operational gaps. From my own playbook, here are my top 3 lessons learned to make brand unification a success: 1. Discuss branding during the LOI phase: Bring it up before closing to ensure alignment with the target. This avoids surprises and sets expectations for how the brands will merge, preventing post-deal friction. 2. Implement a structured sunset process for the acquired brand: Typically 6-9 months or longer (depending on new vs. existing service), start with gradually peeling away elements like the website and social channels (e.g., initial co-branding, then partial redirects), logos, and messaging, culminating in a full redirect and phase-out. This minimizes client confusion while preserving value. 3. Develop cohesive messaging (e.g. message map, rebranded target content, internal comms plan, etc.) to communicate the "why" internally reducing anxiety and boosting buy-in. There are 2 types of CMOs: CMO A is motivated by industry awards, is a master of agencies and presentations. CMO B is motivated by revenue growth, hates working with agencies and prefers spreadsheets to decks. As you get more years under your belt and seek job security / base comp over energy / equity, gravity starts to inevitably pull you from B to A. Its my goal to remain in the second category forever, no matter where I end up in the arc of my career. Startups, scale ups, launching a region for a global brand, another business of my own… whatever it takes to keep building and avoid the slow dull creep of complacency.
