Brian McCarthy shared thisWe are excited to partner with Harness to bring value to our joint customers as they ship software with great speed and highest quality.Brian McCarthy shared this🚀 Your AI coding environment shouldn’t just stop at code. Today, Harness launched the Cursor Plugin — allowing developers to trigger pipelines, manage deployments, and enforce governance policies directly from Cursor chat, all without leaving their development environments. AI is accelerating how fast software gets written. The challenge for enterprises is making sure it ships just as confidently. By connecting the inner loop of development with the outer loop of delivery, Harness and Cursor give engineering teams a governed path from code to production. Brian McCarthy posted thisServant Leadership…often talked about but hard to consistently do…what does it look like? Stooping and washing the feet of those that look to you and follow after you. Taking on the faults and blame and laying down your life so that others may live without guilt. I definetly fail more often than I succeed at leading this way, but Holy Thursday and Good Friday always serve as the ultimate master class in teaching about servant leadership. “For whoever exalts themselves will be humbled, and they who humble themselves shall be lifted up” Mt 23:12

Brian McCarthy posted thisI am very blessed and grateful to be part of the exceptionally brilliant team at Cursor. Grateful for all the founders, builders, and early team that has created such a special company that is scaling faster than anything I have ever seen in my 25 years in technology. Just a few short months ago, Cursor announced their last fund raise which valued the company at 29 Billion dollars, and the company had eclipsed the 1 billion in ARR mark, at the time way back in November, this number was bantered about as the fastest any company has scaled to a billion in ARR in only about 17 months…as the company continues to operate at hyper scale, I see a doubling of that billion ARR in months not years from that last report! 👀 🤯…it is very clear that Cursor has incredible product market fit and demand that is pulling the company to scale. I am humbled to have the opportunity to step in and partner Michael Jordan Topoleski and the other founders and early builders to take Cursor to scale quickly. We ambitiously are going to hire and add talent across the go to market teams. We will be ramping up globally across customer success, account engagement, the partner and alliances teams, and sales professionals to ensure we can meet the demand from prospects and customers and deliver to them a world class experience. For all those wondering what it will be like to scale at Cursor in the Go To Market teams, I can promise you three hallmarks that you can expect the following: 1) You will get to work at a company that cares about you, about your goals, hopes and dreams and invests in you. You will be part of a team exceptional talent and will have a true go to market university where we invest in your learning, development and growth. You will grow in a place where you are respected, cared for enabling you to do the best work of your career. 2) You will have an opportunity to do meaningful work. You get to play a part at the very center of the Ai economy and most important technological moment in our professional lifetime. Your work will matter, as brings quantifiable value to engineers and companies as they bring more innovation and applications to market faster and at better quality than ever before. 3) You will be highly rewarded for doing exceptional work. We will ensure that we are always a place where exceptional work meets exceptional compensation and reward and as you get participate in the building of an important generational company of tremendous value, you will enjoy the rewards that come along with that. So if you are wildly talented, hungry to build, and interested in being part of a transformational company where you are cared for, doing purpose driven work and highly rewarded, Cursor is excited to meet you. I am a little giddy and filled with excitement and passion to go build. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e5GTenZG

Brian McCarthy shared thisMalicious browser extensions disguised as AI helpers ended up stealing the data of around 900,000 users, quietly capturing their ChatGPT and DeepSeek chats plus full browsing histories before sending it all back to attackers’ servers. 🤯📉 Researchers found the extensions were impersonating a legitimate tool and used broad permissions to exfiltrate sensitive info — a big wake-up call about how even trusted-looking add-ons can become risk vectors. #CyberSecurity #ThreatIntel

I joined a high-paced organization with a disruptive market approach and the conviction that we were building something truly special. Here is what those 8 years actually look like: 👥 Growth: Building the region and growing our customer base, transitioning from an Account Executive to my now second year as Regional Director, with 5 smashing quarters in a row. 📈 The Milestone: Witnessing Rubrik go public in 2024. An IPO that marked a defining chapter for the company and validated the immense value we provide to the world. 🎯 Celebrations: Five President's Club rewards. 🚀 Momentum: Contributing to a journey that reached $1.32B in Total Revenue (up 48% YoY) and $1.46B in ARR (up 34% YoY) for FY26. There is so much more greatness ahead of us. 🌍 The Heart: A complete, stellar Benelux team in place with some great recent and future additions that I genuinely love. I’m confident that together we will create even more magic in the years ahead. None of this happens alone 🫶🏽A heartfelt thank you to🙏 My family: For keeping up with the long days and the "always-on" pace. Your support, Yvonne Rerhioui - van der Horst, Camil Rerhioui and Nadine allows me to do what I love every day. Looking forward to celebrating the gifted extra recharge time with you soon. Brian McCarthy reacted on thisDismissed with Prejudice Quietly, over the last several months, an important fight was being held. Darius Lahoutifard of MEDDIC Academy had trademarked MEDDPICC and was claiming ownership to all the trademark rights. Trademark owners usually possess the exclusive right to use their mark to prevent others from using their mark or similar marks. Key rights typically include enforcing ownership against infringers, licensing the mark and potentially owning the mark indefinitely. Andy Whyte, CEO of MEDDICC Ltd decided to stand his ground since trademark infringement was a threat to his MEDDICC training and consulting business. I decided to join Andy and I acted as the expert witness. I believed it was important to represent the greater B2B Sales community in defense of MEDDPICC and MEDDIC. I believe that MEDDPICC and MEDDIC should be used freely throughout the sales world as a generic, industry term. It was my opinion that any attempt to assert exclusive rights would likely stifle a sales language that has become a meaningful sales industry communication, force unneeded change within the numerous companies utilizing MEDDPICC and MEDDIC, and cause nothing but unwanted confusion in the B2B Sales world. And last week we won! A United States District Court ruled that MEDDPICC, is a generic term, widely adopted as a B2B sales qualification methodology and cannot be owned as a trademark. Chief Judge Wendy Beetlestone ordered the United States Patent and Trademark Office to cancel Registration No. 6,489,058, held by Darius Lahoutifard of 01 Consulting LLC, doing business as MEDDIC Academy. The court found that Lahoutifard was not involved in MEDDPICC's conception, yet after almost 30 years after the genesis of MEDDIC at PTC in the early 1990’s, and the creation of MEDDPICC in 2005, he federally registered the MEDDPICC term as his trademark in 2020. The court granted Andy Whyte’s company and MEDDICC Ltd motion for summary judgment in full on the trademark claims and dismissed every counterclaim brought by Darius Lahoutifard with prejudice. MEDDPICC and MEDDIC are free to be used by the sales community as they were originally intended.

Salesforce success transcends mere technology deployment; it hinges on earning customer trust through responsible data use, speed, and accuracy. As organizations face challenges with fragmented data, inconsistent insights, and tightening AI regulations, a unified platform becomes essential. Salesforce, powered by Data Cloud and Einstein AI, serves as a single source of truth, enabling real-time insights, predictive intelligence, and proactive customer engagement. However, the true value lies in thoughtful implementation, which includes: - Aligning technology to business outcomes - Securely integrating systems - Deploying transparent and explainable AI - Applying industry-specific expertise Ultimately, companies that merge advanced platforms with ethical data practices and human judgment will foster durable customer loyalty and achieve sustainable growth. Why Salesforce Implementation Starts with Understanding the Business- Not the Platform Salesforce today offers 12 industry-focused “Mini Clouds” from Manufacturing and Healthcare to Financial Services and Retail. Each of these clouds is designed to fit specific business verticals, which makes implementation faster and more relevant. But here’s the key insight: Before jumping into customization, enterprises must first analyze their own business objectives and identify how Salesforce aligns with their workflows. At our company, our Salesforce Technical Architect follows a simple yet powerful approach: Understand the Organization – What are the business goals, existing systems, and customer journeys? Define the Implementation Roadmap – Identify where to begin, what to automate first, and how future phases will scale. Decide on Customization Needs – Many Salesforce features are pre-built for industry use cases. Only customize where it truly adds business value. Architect for Scalability – Design the overall system architecture so each stage of implementation builds on the previous one. Salesforce is not just a tool it’s a platform for continuous evolution. Success comes when businesses think strategically before customizing tactically. How does your organization plan its Salesforce roadmap start with technology or strategy? #Salesforce #DigitalTransformation #CRM #CloudComputing #BusinessStrategy #Implementation #EnterpriseArchitecture
