Charles F Manning shared thisOur own Grant Simmons with the most recent AdTech Trends by Kochava - talking about StationOne and how it's been delivering value to customers during the beta. Real examples, real proof points, AI that works in your environment using your LLM keys :)Charles F Manning shared thisYour next analytics tool should be a conversation, not a dashboard 🗣️ The enterprise AI dilemma: You need cutting-edge marketing intelligence, but you can't upload sensitive marketing data to public cloud services. AI-powered marketing analytics with natural language queries + enterprise-grade data governance. With bring-your-own-LLM architecture, your fraud detection signals, SKAdNetwork postbacks, and MMP data stay entirely in your control. The question isn't whether AI analytics will transform your marketing workflow—it's whether you'll use secure AI tools you can trust.Your next analytics tool should be a conversation, not a dashboardYour next analytics tool should be a conversation, not a dashboard

Charles F Manning shared thisYahoo DSP is the first DSP to deploy an integrated Workspace in StationOne by Kochava. What's included: - 8 Integrated skills that are specific to the Yahoo DSP Environment including things like Account Audit and Health Check, Budget & Pacing Monitor, Campaign Optimizer, Campaign Setup Wizard and a Tracking Tag Validator (screen shot below) - 3 Integrated agents in Agent Forge for repetitive tasks in the campaign lifecycle with the ability to create more - A Yahoo DSP 'Web Facet' - ability to log into the Yahoo DSP UI and engage with AI tools against data in the dashboard (screen shot below). See how StationOne provides a 'ride-along AI' that enhances even existing dash tools... - Integrated Connector to the Yahoo DSP system with managed authentication. - User choice to use any AI Model you want to use (cloud-based or open-source off-line models) - inclusive of Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or 20+ others. Ronan Shields put together a great piece (link in comments) summarizing the announcement and the larger thematic transition that is happening in the market. As AI tooling is increasingly available to maximize productivity, orchestration is needed to make the most of the tools to help brands and agencies grow. StationOne makes this simple and powerful - and has an open approach to partner with each actor in the ecosystem. Special thanks to Adam Roodman, Emily Ray, and Jordan B. in partnering to deliver this first of it's kind Workspace.

Charles F Manning shared thisReturning from POSSIBLE and the LG Ad Solutions Customer Advisory Board off-site... I met a bunch of new people and was energized as I saw loads of existing colleagues. I feel tremendously grateful. - I had the opportunity to engage with partners who are using Atlas Performance by Kochava and understand new ways we can provide outcomes optimization across the SSP tier in service of our premium pubs... - I had the opportunity to share more with brands about our industry leading MMM. - I had the opportunity to tell many of our media partners about StationOne and the Connectors we've built to make their offerings available into the broadest Integrative AI framework in the advertising ecosystem - StationOne. As I returned home, I learned that our S1 team released a new native plugin which provides 'math' natively as a deterministic function call within the inference engine of StationOne. This is important because models don't do math well (at all) and if you're going to be using AI as an orchestration layer to measure, analyze and compute data sets - you kind of need to make sure the calcs work... consistently. This is one of the powerful things about having an AI harness that's been built specifically for the advertising ecosystem - and having a legacy of being a trusted independent measurement leader - we are uniquely positioned to build a purpose-built platform that pulls all of the pieces together across the industry (just as we do for measurement) - and tie it together with a unified AI runtime that leverages any model and any api key directly. And the math works even if the models don't do math so well.

Charles F Manning shared thisAs I'm sure others saw as well - Marc Benioff referenced the below late last week. This approach (to headless) is precisely the same approach we're taking at Kochava on the omni-channel measurement/attribution front. We provide bi-directional, Command-and-Control headless api's across our stack - and it's all available in MCP as well. We also have StationOne as an #IntegrativeAI platform that ties together measurement with optimization, activation, planning, etc -> across any tool across the ad ecosystem into a unified AI environment. Link to StationOne below... This is workflow-based thinking and this is where advertising is going (along with the rest of software).

Charles F Manning shared thisEarlier this week, the Claude Code source map leaked—512,000 lines across 1,906 TypeScript files. Within hours, a primary replicated repo hit 74.7k GitHub stars with hundreds of forks appearing immediately. Joshua S. wrote a solid piece about the beginning of the "harness wars" (https://lnkd.in/eGDRYW3i). His core insight: there's more value in "the harness" than the market has understood. 1,000% Agree! This is precisely why we built StationOne. What The Leak Revealed The leak wasn't about model weights—it was about the client runtime. How context is captured, how memory compacts, how multi-agent workflows maintain auditability. While hundreds rush to build engineering-focused tools, the bigger opportunity is the 90% of workers who aren't developers - marketers, operations leaders, product managers, sales teams who need AI to understand their domain, not just execute code. StationOne's Architecture We built four core primitives for domain-specific context: - Workspaces → Team-level context with privacy controls, multi-model support, and extensibility through Skills, Operators, and Agents. No code operating environment - no exposure to collections of .md files. - Connectors → MCP-based integrations to systems of record (Salesforce, Gong, Google, Slack, Kochava) with bidirectional state management and enterprise security. Connectivity through oAuth flows - point, click, authenticate. - Playbooks → Persistent context graphs that capture workflows, decisions, institutional knowledge, and the "why" behind every action. Software conforming to the workflow - not the other way around. - Memory → Contextual memory across Workspaces or on a per-Workspace basis for Knowledge Workers StationOne isn't a chat wrapper. It's a "context graph operating environment" for domain expertise. Until this leak, awareness of the 'harness' was under-appreciated. Now, it's seems better understood. Why We're Starting With Advertising - $1T market. Paid media is huge, fragmented, and operationally complex. - Deep expertise. Kochava has been a trusted measurement leader for over a decade. - 20% of P&L. High-stakes spend where context loss = financial impact. CFOs and CMOs need systems that explain decisions and maintain auditability. While we call the category of StationOne Integrative AI - it is a 'type' of 'harness' - targeted to the real business domain. One Harness; n Workspaces We're building for advertising first, with an architecture that allows others to incorporate their unique industry knowledge into Workspaces and Playbooks. One domain at a time. Context graph as foundation. #AI #EnterpriseAI #AdTech #MarTech #StationOne #IntegrativeAI --- P.S. - If you're in advertising operations and curious about domain-specific context graphs in practice, let's talk. We're working with early partners to refine the AdOps playbook. Last week we shipped the IAB Tech Lab Agentic Buying Workspace (Ref Impl) as an open-source Workspace. More soon.

Charles F Manning shared thisI spent some time with the team at Teads earlier in March - in Hamburg, Germany. I was asked to join them for the CTV Summit event and speak about what we are seeing from a data perspective around CTV, Mobile, and the reality that CTV is a performance channel through tools like Atlas Performance by Kochava... The themes: - Outcomes - Outcomes Optimization - Blending exposure across CTV and Mobile increases outcomes by over 20% and in some verticals, more than 40% in incremental gains... - Atlas Performance - with premium inventory from CTV OEM's and Streaming Platfrorms - is the key to demonstrating the performance gains. - R/F isn't as important as outcomes... and this is what we are demonstrating in live environments - together. Teads is putting real weight behind these ideas in service of their customers. Smart room, sharp questions, and a willingness to get past surface-level talking points. I enjoyed it. Appreciate the invite and the push toward a more accountable version of where this space is headed. https://lnkd.in/eW6Tp3BkCharles F Manning shared thisA look back at our TeadsConnects CTV Summit in #Hamburg, where we celebrated the opening of our new office and brought together leading voices from across the industry to exchange ideas on the evolving role of the big screen. The day was filled with engaging discussions, valuable insights, and opportunities to connect, highlighting the momentum behind #CTV and the growing shift toward a fully digital TV landscape. Charles F Manning liked thisCharles F Manning liked thisAdvertisers should be able to tap into the benefits of Yahoo DSP in the way that makes the most sense for them. That could mean using our UI, or increasingly, executing through their own tools and workflows. The point is customer choice: easier access to our data, inventory, optimization, and outcomes wherever it makes sense for you. The future is flexible and interoperable and Yahoo DSP is built for it. Not too long ago I had the pleasure of connecting with Lee-Ann Johnstone for an episode of the Affiverse Podcast to talk about Aragon's vertically-integrated performance marketing business model, our approach to social traffic (influencer + paid), the importance of data in performance optimization, and general best practices for affiliate marketing after 15 years in the business. Lee-Ann poses some perceptive questions to her guests and it was a pleasure talking about the direction of the industry and what brands need to do to succeed in today's affiliate marketing landscape. (Hint: if you're not growing, you're slowing!) #affiliatemarketing #performancemarketing

Publishers like On3 | Rivals & Brit + Co are seeing their RPM/RPS lift by over 25% & dwell time over 200% respectively. 📈 How? By moving beyond basic tools and using AI that understands context at a deeper level. Mula helps publishing teams turn dormant inventory into revenue drivers through: ✅ Semantic analysis ✅ Dynamic content placement (eCommerce, Next Page, Vertical Video, Polls) ✅ Real-time testing Drive stronger engagement and scale revenue based on actual reader intent, recommending content they actually want to engage with; not toe fungus or belly fat. #makemore #digitalpublishing #ai #agentic

Article 64: Canned Responses for Craft Breweries Craft breweries receive frequent questions about products, availability, tours, and events. Canned Responses enable quick replies. Attachments like beer catalogs, event flyers, or promotional images can be shared. Quick Reply buttons help customers select products or book tours. CTA URLs guide users to online ordering or event pages. Forms can collect visitor feedback or preferences. Assigning conversations ensures staff respond efficiently, improving customer experience and sales. https://lnkd.in/gx44rDwu

Software in ticketing is evolving fast, faster than most people realize. Here’s the uncomfortable truth: a lot of the biggest primary ticketing companies aren’t evolving with it. Not because they don’t see the future… but because the past is expensive. When you’re running legacy infrastructure at scale, “upgrading” isn’t just shipping a new feature. It’s replacing (or reworking) the entire foundation underneath it: - Venue servers and local networks - Entry scanners and handheld devices - Credentialing systems - Integrations with POS, access control, and fulfillment - Staff training and operational workflows across thousands of events That’s a massive bill. And if the current system is still “working,” the mindset becomes: if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud: if we force primaries to modernize overnight, that cost doesn’t disappear; it gets passed on. Higher service fees. Higher ticket prices. More “convenience” charges. And ultimately, more fans priced out. So progress slows. Innovation gets throttled. The industry stays stuck with patchwork updates instead of real transformation. This is also why the secondary market matters more than people want to admit. The secondary ecosystem has always been forced to innovate: pricing, automation, mapping, real-time data, fulfillment workflows, fraud detection, customer experience… all of it. Because if we don’t evolve, we don’t survive. That innovation doesn’t just help brokers or marketplaces, it pushes the entire industry forward. It raises expectations. It pressures everyone to improve. It proves what’s possible. That’s exactly what we’re building with PricerQX and ProcessorQX. We’re not waiting for legacy systems to catch up. We’re building modern tooling for a modern market, software that moves at the speed the industry should be moving. Because the future of ticketing won’t be won by whoever has the most venues locked down. It’ll be won by whoever builds the best technology. #ticketing #livetickets #liveevents #sportsbusiness #concerts #secondarymarket #resale #ticketresale #eventtech #saas #software #innovation #automation #datadriven #pricing #operations #PricerQX #ProcessorQX #businessgrowth #entrepreneurship

What better way to close out 2025 and welcome 2026 with AdTechGod®? It is hard to overstate how disruptive 2025 has been for digital media. By any measure, 2025 will be remembered as one of the most consequential years the industry has seen in decades. Among myriad developments, general AI and agentic approaches to media buying will accelerate change across the media landscape. I expect 2026 to continue this trend. At the same time, we are clearly at the peak of an agentic hype cycle. While agentic media buying may unlock meaningful new efficiencies, this work is still very new. Early efforts will deliver both real breakthroughs and very real failures. The industry must be disciplined in separating promise from proof. ATG and I spent time discussing where agentic systems might add genuine value in the future, and where expectations are outpacing reality. Separately, we also dug into how the IAB Tech Lab makes hard roadmap decisions. Those decisions are increasingly driven by principal-based feedback from publishers and agencies, going deep on new concepts with the Tech Lab Board, and by a clear assessment of what the ecosystem needs to scale responsibly. Agentic AI may be having its moment, but AI does not fix broken incentives, fragmented measurement, or privacy challenges. It scales them. Without strong foundations, agentic systems will not transform advertising. They will simply exacerbate existing problems. That is why the Tech Lab is focused on evolving our open standards in an agentic world to drive interoperability and trust, and to capitalize on the potential of AI solutions in media, as we roll out our agentic initiatives this January.

The main thing to remember is that your site, at its core is a funnel. From landing to FTD. It even goes further back from Campaign to FTD. This is the most crucial part of the process, and the design is the trail that leads the player to their destination. The smater your design, the higher your conversion ratio.
