Jason Dunne reacted on thisJason Dunne reacted on thisI've spent time at Dome9, Check Point, and Sysdig. Three very different companies at three different moments in cloud security's evolution. Looking back at what customer conversations sounded like then versus what they sound like now, one shift stands out. The conversations back then were almost entirely about capabilities. What the product detects. How many integrations it covers. Which compliance frameworks it maps to. Customers evaluated security tools the way they evaluated infrastructure (feature set, coverage, compatibility). Nobody was asking about outcomes. How many findings your team actually closed last quarter, or what your remediation rate looks like six months in, or whether the risk actually went down. The AI shift is changing that. When a system can show you exactly how many critical issues were remediated, at what speed, with what level of validation, across which environments, the conversation changes. Features become a baseline. Outcomes become the product. I think about this constantly at Tamnoon. In a pre-AI market, we'd have competed on capabilities. In this one, the only thing that matters is what actually got fixed. Those who understand that distinction are asking completely different questions in evaluations now, and they're making better decisions because of it.

Introducing Prometheus: our new flagship server built from the ground up with a memory-first architecture. As models explode to trillions of parameters, existing hardware simply can’t keep pace. High-powered chips sit idle, waiting to recruit memory from neighboring chips, while costs balloon and the best models become commercially unviable. We sat down with The Wall Street Journal to share how Prometheus is the first AI processor actually designed around memory. At its core is a chip of our design, equipped with the capacity required to handle AI's biggest models. Paired with up to 128TB of high-speed memory per server, Prometheus runs models with 5–10 trillion parameters smoothly and efficiently. The most powerful AI is finally within reach. Recently I came to the realization that growth can also come from recognizing where you've done your best work and then leaning back into that with even greater perspective and experiences. I'm grateful for what I've learned and the people I had the opportunity to work with this past year at Chainguard, but could not be more excited to share that I am returning to MongoDB with a renewed focus on making an even bigger impact that before.
