Over the past 20 years,
CTI has completed more than 20 acquisitions.
But here’s the truth most people miss:
We’re not really buying companies. We’re not looking for revenue or EBITDA multiples.
We’re looking for great people who can make
CTI better.
That’s it.
Your company doesn’t have to be big.
In fact, some of the companies we’re most interested in are the ones nobody else is calling.
Too small for private equity. Or it’s a turnaround that no one wants to take on.
We’ve acquired companies that did less than $5 million a year in business, and more than $40 milllion. And if you’re bigger? We’ll look at that, too.
We’re not afraid of those conversations.
Because a lot of times, those are the businesses built on strong relationships, loyal teams, and people who just need the right next chapter.
We’ve completed 6 acquisitions in the last two years.
One reason people choose
CTI is that we make it easy.
No layers of approvals.
No drawn-out waiting on a board of directors or rounds of middle management.
No army of lawyers slowing things down.
We’re privately held. We can move fast.
We’ve closed deals in 30 days.
We actually closed one in 4 days.
It’s more typical for attorneys to spend a month passing paper back and forth before you wait another 30 or 60 days as the accountants review it. Before you know it, three or six months have gone by.
Honestly, if you want to get acquired, we’re faster and easier to work with.
And when it’s done?
We’re not buying companies to cut people.
We’re buying companies to give people a place to grow.
A lot of owners we talk to are ready for their next chapter, but they still care deeply about their team. Maybe they’re ready to retire, or they don’t want the pressure of running a company day in and day out. But they’re intensely loyal to their people and want to make sure they're taken care of.
We understand that journey.
It’s a true honor if you entrust us with the people you’ve gathered and the company you’ve built with them.
If that’s you, whether you’re ready now or just thinking about it, I’m always open to a conversation.
Even if it doesn’t lead to a deal.
The reason we’ve been able to do this successfully so many times is simple: I genuinely enjoy helping people and companies succeed.
I’ve spent years consulting with businesses. I’ve had dozens of conversations around acquisitions.
Some were a great fit for
CTI.
Some weren’t.
And that’s okay.
If we’re not a match, we probably know somebody who is. I can still help you think through an exit strategy. Or how to grow. Or what comes next.
I don’t mind sharing what I’ve learned.
Never have.
If you’re thinking about selling your AV company, reach out; I’m sure we have a lot to talk about.
