Security many times comes down to the simple things like policy, procedure, and double-triple checking things before you hit that submit button. Daniel Powers shared thisTo give you an idea on how AI is going to change the world. I've been building a Sauna in our garage. When you have a Sauna you need air intake, and air exhaust, and want to control how much CO2 is in the Sauna, and it can vary based on how many people in the Sauna. CO2 levels too high can cause headaches. My sauna design uses an AC Infinity Cloudline 6 fan, with their Controller AI+. Basically controller has the fan, CO2 sensor and temperature sensor connected to it. My goal is: 1) Start Saunum Sauna Heater and run for 4 hours (1 hour heat sauna up, 2 hours to use if you like, 1 hour cool down) 2) Start fan at level 3, run for 4 hours 3) Hours 2&3 check CO2 levels, if above 500ppm run fan at level 5, and if above 750 run at level 7. This ensure CO2 levels stay comfortable in Sauna for everyone, regardless of how many people in sauna 4) Hour 3-4 cool down, and Sauna drys out, level 3 on fan Over last 2 days here is my dialogue with ChatGPT. Basically working to setup my rasberryPI server for home automation, and to build a Google home command where I can say "hey Google turn Sauna on" that will start the Sauna heater, and start the AC infinity fan, and CO2 monitor... all in the 4 hour window. Just incredible, and by end of day today while I was puttering this with ChatGPT I have home assistant server set up, and started up the routine I built via a hey Google command. I haven't Installed the heater in Sauna yet, so Saunum integration will be next week. Amazing where this is at and going: https://lnkd.in/giue6XAz

Daniel Powers posted thisHey LinkedIn Hive mind. I'm working as a CTO for a small SI/SaaS based company who has a SaaS - Azure based solution for state, and local governments for assessors. SaaS based solution is on Azure and we also use as a business all the Microsoft products for office, teams, outlook, etc... We are urrently a partner of MSFT for Cloud and AI, and under gold service which includes support for our MSFT office licenses for employees, apparently this program is being sunsetted by MSFT by end of January 2025. I spent a few hours reading about the various MSFT partner programs - super confusing (how about a decision tree?). Next AI - tried the AI chat on MSFT partner portal, the intelligence was definitely artificial. Opened a ticket to talk to an expert, and just got off call, was obvious they were reading from a script in some remote call center, and left with little answers and more confused. If anyone knows someone or is in the MSFT partner org, and can look at our company and advise us on which Partner program to sign up for, let me know. Pretty simple, as a company we use MSFT for our business, we are an SI with a SaaS based solution for State & Local Gov. on Azure. The SI portion is getting client data into cloud/our solution, and enabling/training them on our solution, and building out any custom features they need Thanks all!

Daniel Powers shared thisGreat article. We put in our pre-order the first time we saw it. Few thoughts: 1) Priced right, less than Airstream Tradewind, the only one in family that slightly compares. Way more features in Pebble for the $ 2) Like the tow-assist, but towed a small RV this summer with Tesla Model X. It isn't 3-4 stops for a long day, it is 6-8, maybe more. The tow-assist may get one to 4-6 stops. Also have to consider time to stop during day, and most of chathing stations don't have a tow through charger. Adding in time to park, remove trailer (Pebble makes it easier), and the time to charge…during a full day spending 6 x 30-45 mins extra on your deive. stopping. 3) Pebble is 6600 lbs to tow, only a few EVs can pull this: Rivian, Tesla Cyber truck, various EV trucks. Probably want towing capacity of 8500+ to be safe So excited for the Pebble, but for the kind of trips and camping we plan, the towing vehicle will still be gas. Still very excited by the improved gas mileage we will see towing the Pebble.
