Sandeep Jain shared thisThis week, the mighty team at MonetizeNow got together in Jackson Hole for our company offsite. Also, was great to host Will Price, one of our investors! No giant conference rooms. No endless slide decks. Just a group of people deeply obsessed with solving one of the hardest problems in B2B SaaS: Quote-to-Cash. A few reflections coming out of the trip: -> In-person connection matters far more than what people realize. Do it semi-yearly if not quarterly. -> Meet in nature instead of a concrete jungle. People think differently there. -> Ranches and communal spaces >>> hotels and resorts. Some of the activities we did together: + Biking + Kayaking + Campfires by the river + Hiking + Fly fishing + Frisbee golf + Chess + Cooking a bit (with an amazing chef helping us) …all on the ranch!! And then we did some fun work stuff too :) The best ideas often came during campfires, hikes, dinners, random whiteboard sessions, pool games, and late-night debates about pricing models, AI, usage billing, and UX. The team is already working on one truly game-changing Q2C feature coming out of this offsite. More to come. Ahem. Ahem. Most importantly, these offsites are a reminder that startups are ultimately built by people who genuinely enjoy building together. Really grateful for this team and excited for what’s ahead. Highly encourage every startup to invest in experiences like this. A few photos from the trip ↓

Sandeep Jain posted thisAI is being sold as the fix for the CPQ → Billing chasm. It isn’t. The problem isn't translation. It's the architecture. AI can read contracts. Summarize terms. Extract data from PDFs. But SaaS billing doesn't break on invoice one. It breaks on what comes next: Amendments → upsells, downsells, cross-sells. Early renewals. Proration and co-terming. Usage billing with minimum commits. Price changes. RevRec impact. These workflows require a clean, contract-centric data model. Probabilistic patch between disconnected systems simply doesn't work. Finance doesn't need invoices that are "probably right." RevRec doesn't need data that's "mostly consistent." AI is powerful only when the underlying revenue architecture is unified. Otherwise, AI is just duct tape with better branding. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙌𝙪𝙤𝙩𝙚-𝙩𝙤-𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝘼𝙄 𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨. 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩. 𝘼𝙄 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙. That's the thesis we started MonetizeNow and it's more obvious every day. #CPQ #Billing #AI #QuoteToCash #RevOps

Sandeep Jain shared thisOur team is meeting in Jackson Hole next week at a super ranch for unwinding! 🏇 As we scale and move fast, it’s easy to stay in “build mode” all the time. But stepping back is just as important. This trip is about: Unwinding Spending time in nature Resetting mentally Because great companies aren’t just built on execution they’re built on clarity, energy, and mental well-being. We have a packed agenda with lots of fun, activities, down time and just spending time with each other :) Thank you to the team for planning this out 🙏 Looking forward to slowing down for a bit with the team! ⛺

Sandeep Jain shared thisTypical Quote-to-cash stack: Quoting → Google Doc or a CPQ tool Billing → Another tool Result? → Manual, error-prone invoicing → Painful upsells → Missed renewals Coast was in the same spot. They unified CPQ + Billing and everything just clicked! Case Study - https://lnkd.in/gfNJ_Vxi If you can quote for it, you can invoice for it automatically! Unified Architecture is the new Black! Love the partnership Ben Parks & Greg Thome 👏 #cpq #billing
-
Sandeep Jain shared thisAI-native CPQ isn’t a demo. It’s reality. At MonetizeNow, reps don’t analyze quotes manually. They ask: “Which quote is better and why?” …and get instant answers. Because once CPQ + Billing are unified → the data is clean → AI actually works. No spreadsheets. No RevOps loops. No guesswork. #AI #CPQ #Q2C

Sandeep Jain posted this🚀 We migrated our entire codebase from Bitbucket to GitHub in 4 weeks. Most companies would plan 2–3 months for a migration like this. Why the move? Because GitHub is a meaningfully better platform for us: → Better AI tooling for writing and reviewing code → More flexible and powerful CI/CD with GitHub Actions → A stronger ecosystem for integrations, automation, and developer workflows Why so fast? → Our DevOps team of 1 :) did the heavy lifting in the first week → AI dramatically accelerated syntax conversion, pipeline rewrites, and repetitive migration work → The rest of the time went into polishing and bug fixes, not the migration itself The real takeaway: tools matter, but teams matter more. Big shoutout to our engineering and DevOps team for making this happen! Lean teams can move incredibly fast when they care deeply about engineering excellence. 🙌 #GitHub #DevOps #CICD #EngineeringExcellence #MonetizeNow

Sandeep Jain shared thisCan your CPQ do this❓ When buyers push for “one more concession,” reps shouldn’t need Slack + spreadsheets + deal desk. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 suggests concession plays! 💪

Sandeep Jain shared thisReceived this from an employee who joined recently ❤️ Culture norms are set by the founder, but unless the team truly believes in them, they’re just words on a slide. Moments like this remind me how special the #MonetizeNow team really is! Thank you Team!

Sandeep Jain shared thisMonetizeNow keeps growing 🚀 Thrilled to welcome Brad Mortimore! Brad brings a rare combination of deep accounting and finance expertise, strong commercial instincts, and what’s equally important outstanding interpersonal skills. We’re incredibly intentional about culture at MonetizeNow. High standards, high ownership… and no jerks 🙂 Welcome to the team, Brad!Sandeep Jain shared thisI’m excited to share that I’ll be joining MonetizeNow as Head of Sales. MonetizeNow is the AI-native monetization platform built for B2B SaaS, and I believe the timing couldn’t be better. We’ve officially entered a new era of Quote-to-Revenue. The old siloed solutions for CPQ, Billing, Metering, and Revenue simply can’t keep up with the demands of AI-fueled growth in B2B SaaS. Monetization is the most important core growth engine of any B2B SaaS company. I believe that workflow deserves a dedicated, all-in-one, AI-powered platform….and that’s exactly what MonetizeNow has built for the next generation of hyperscale companies. I couldn’t be more excited to help lead that charge. To my network, if you’re curious about what we’re building or want to learn more, I’d love to chat. Thank you, Sandeep Jain, for this incredible opportunity. Let’s go! 🚀

We said goodbye to incredibly talented teammates, leaders, and partners across the company… many of whom I’ve worked closely with for years. These are people who helped build systems, teams, relationships, and culture that made a real impact. To those affected…thank you! You mattered here and your work mattered. I’m grateful to have worked alongside you. For anyone in my network that’s hiring across Enterprise Systems, business apps, Salesforce, Delivery leadership, Eng or GTM ops…I know exceptional people who would be huge additions to your org. Today there is a lot of uncertainty, emotion, and change. But also an opportunity to support each other, stay connected, and help great people land in great places. My DMs are open.

Sandeep Jain reacted on thisSandeep Jain reacted on thisBack from SaaSiest 2026 in Malmö, and the best ideas are still settling. 🧠 Sharing the stage with Dan Kelly to make the case that RevOps is a strategic lever for CROs and CMOs — not a reporting layer after decisions are already made — was one of the highlights of my year. The most telling part wasn't the talk itself — it was the conversations after. The number of senior GTM leaders saying "we're wrestling with exactly this" tells me we've collectively underestimated how much room there is for RevOps to operate as a strategic function. A few things I'm bringing home: → The best CRO–RevOps partnerships aren't built on dashboards. They're built on trust, candor, and a willingness to disagree before alignment. → AI in GTM is real, but the operators winning with it are the ones who already have clean process and clean data. The shortcut isn't a shortcut. → The Nordic GTM community is doing genuinely sharp work, and I left with a notebook full of ideas to bring back to the team. → Picked up a new AI assistant along the way thanks to Dave Killeen — Dex (https://heydex.ai/) is worth a look. 👏 Huge thanks to Daniel Nackovski and Thomas Sjöberg and the SaaSiest crew for one of the most welcoming events I've been apart of. Already looking forward to 2027! Maverick, do you have your Goose? 🛩️ #saasiest2026

Sandeep Jain reacted on thisSandeep Jain reacted on thisabout a month ago I posted here about growing a beard. It was a joke, and poking fun at people vague-posting about the long term projects that they're building. Well, the beard project evolved into a 3 Musketeers goatee project, and then just a mustache project. Through these pivots I learned that a mustache is a life hack to disrupt three to four minutes from every Zoom call because someone would bring it up, or I would ask for opinions about the mustache. Today I shaved the mustache, but I expect most of my calls tomorrow to be disrupted by comments about how I no longer have a mustache. Goodbye, mustache.

Provocative but not accurate: Cisco's Jeetu Patel reacts to Vinod Khosla jibe about company Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, had said at the India AI Impact Summit that somebody who has worked at Cisco for 15 to 20 years would be considered “unemployable”, arguing that people tend to get ossified in large organisations and fail to keep up with change. “Vinod is provocative in ways sometimes that are interesting, but not completely accurate,” Jeetu Patel told Moneycontrol responding to the remark at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. https://lnkd.in/guupKHPu

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗽𝘂 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 Every once in a while, you come across a leader whose perspective reframes how you think about tech and leadership. I recently had the chance to speak with Sandeep Kaipu, on our Conversive Talk. Sandeep leads platform services for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) at Broadcom, shaping the private cloud and AI infrastructure that power some of the world’s largest enterprises. What stood out to me about Sandeep wasn’t just his deep technical knowledge, but 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. He says it best: “𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦.” His upcoming book, 𝘈𝘐 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 (2025), explores that intersection beautifully: balancing logic and empathy, systems and storytelling, technology and trust. 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲: • Infrastructure is no longer plumbing, it’s the foundation of insight and creativity. • Leadership is service, helping others see their own potential more clearly. • Curiosity is the only sustainable strategy. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜-𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱? That is the question we will tackle in an interactive Innovation Workshop at the SuccessLab Executive Forum on March 24 at NetApp in San Jose. Last Friday, I had a terrific planning session with Alex Schrager and Kasha Leese, of Ecosystems.io, Anurag Goel of Red Hat, and Matt Collier of Planhat as we shared the workshop: 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲-𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 Rather than a presentation-heavy session, this will be a collaborative working exchange among senior peers focused on one of the most important challenges facing post-sales leaders today. Together, we will explore: ▪ How leading organizations are embedding value realization into daily workflows ▪ How Success, Sales, and Product align around measurable outcomes ▪ How teams move from AI experimentation to real enterprise impact ▪ How post-sales leaders scale value with limited resources ▪ How value creation connects to expansion, retention, and durable ARR What makes this workshop compelling is the combination of research insights, practical examples, peer exchange, and collaborative exercises. Participants will gain actionable takeaways and playbooks shaped by the collective thinking in the room and shared with the broader community. Thank you again to Alex, Kasha, Anurag, and Matt for helping shape what will be a thoughtful and highly relevant session. We welcome leaders in Customer Success, Product, Services, IT, and AI to join us on March 24. More info and registration: https://lu.ma/css324 #AI #CSS #CVC #CustomerValue #Ecosystems #SuccessLab

Differentiated hybrid multi-cloud capabilities position NTAP to participate in enterprise AI infrastructure spend. The enterprise storage market has not seen the same AI-fueled exponential growth that servers and networking markets have experienced since 2023, likely because the vast majority of investments to date have gone towards training foundational models at hyperscalers rather than enterprise on-premise AI deployment (where storage OEMs like NetApp participate). That said, momentum in enterprise AI infrastructure and data lake modernization is building, with management highlighting expectations for a sequential ramp throughout F2026. In F2Q26, NTAP closed approximately 200 AI deals across geographies, industries, and use cases. The company has characterized these deals in three major buckets: (1) Data preparation (~45% of deals); (2) inference use cases like RAG or reinforcement learning (~30%); and (3) training & fine tuning (~25%).

I recently interviewed Harshit Omar, Co-Founder & CTO of FluidCloud, and asked him three direct questions about what recent cloud outages really mean for enterprises. His answers cut through the noise — on: • Why “multi-cloud” often isn’t truly resilient • Where most enterprises are still exposed to risk • What real cloud portability actually looks like in practice Great read!

🚨 𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒅 NEW EPISODE: AI Upskilling and Innovation with Cisco CLO Marci Paino 🎙️ What if your learning strategy started with your business strategy and shipped value 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 by delivering “minimum loveable products”? These are the core disciplines Marci Paino and her team practice at Cisco. Marci and I covered a lot of ground talking about learning as a driver for innovation, AI upskilling, AI for learning and more in this episode but two ideas really stood out to me. First, while Cisco’s AI skills research identifies the need to fill myriad technical skill gaps, upskilling the “everyday worker” on AI was their biggest priority. Everyone, from individual contributors to leaders and even board members, needs a safe, practical on-ramp to relevant, targeted AI upskilling. Second, embrace design thinking, take the time to understand your customer’s pain, ship a “minimal lovable product,” and iterate. Product quality improves when the learning team models the behaviors they’re teaching the rest of the company. How are you anchoring learning to your company’s core business strategy? And how do you deliver quality learning products? Tune in and share your thoughts! Watch or listen here: https://lnkd.in/guUHTUBp #LearningInnovation #AIDrivenLearning #DesignThinking #MinimumLovableProduct #BeingIntrepid #AIUpskilling #LearningDesign #BusinessStrategy

Why aren't tech companies building more solar power? Yes, the Amazon AWS outage was impactful - for a day - and the cause (DNS) is interesting - but what stands out to me is data center increasingly heavy needs for electricity. According to this article, in Virginia 25% of the energy usage is by data centers; and they are building more. We need more solar and wind, we need more guidance from politicians, and more ethical focus by these companies. China, by example, is WAY ahead of the US now in the pace of building new large-scale solar installations. https://lnkd.in/dVtawPk5 #DataCenters #Electricity #power #Energy #ethics #Environment

I just wrapped a high-impact conversation with Padmini Murthy and Chani Modi on the #BrandMatters podcast about how AI is radically transforming Product Management. Listen to it here:https://lnkd.in/gKmemxsp Key takeaways: The days of static frameworks are over. Here are the critical shifts PMs need to act on now: 1. Technical Fluency in LLMs/RAG is now a core PM competency. 2. Dynamic Prioritization fueled by real-time data is replacing RICE (and other traditional) frameworks. 3. The Human Factor is Essential: AI handles analysis, but strategic PMs must bring the wisdom, intuition, and courage for decisions—especially when dealing with data scarcity, cultural resistance, or AI ethics. What data or culture blockers are you seeing slow down AI-accelerated product transformations in your organization? #ProductManagement #AI #ProductStrategy #FutureOfWork
