Amit Walia posted thisToday I sign off after nearly 13 years at Informatica. It feels surreal. Informatica was never just a job for me. It became part of my life. I grew alongside this company, professionally and personally. Soon after I joined, we transitioned from public to private. As CEO, I had the privilege of leading Informatica back to the public markets and now into its next chapter with Salesforce. Few leaders experience a journey like that. I do not take it for granted and am deeply grateful. Together, we transformed the company. We redefined data management and built the industry’s only AI-powered cloud data management platform, IDMC with CLAIRE that grew from virtually zero to $1 billion cloud ARR in 6 years. But numbers tell only part of the story. What I will carry most is the values we Informaticans built together. We had belief. We had passion. We pushed boundaries. We challenged assumptions. We achieved something very special. We made each other better. To our customers and partners: thank you for trusting us with your most strategic asset, your data. To our investors, public and private: thank you for your confidence through every phase of transformation. And finally, to my family: thank you for the sacrifices and unwavering support that made this journey possible. I am excited for the future, for Informatica, and for all of you. I wish everyone the best as they start their new chapters. I wish Salesforce the best knowing that Informatica has found a great home there driving their data-driven agentic AI growth. This is not a goodbye. It is the close of one chapter and the beginning of another. I plan to take time to reflect, learn, and grow before what comes next for me. Until we meet again.

Amit Walia shared thisWe talk a lot about AI strategy and infrastructure, but there's a foundational challenge that doesn't get enough attention: any sophisticated tech stack will fail without an AI-literate workforce. I explore this in my latest piece for Fast Company, and the data is striking: three-quarters of data leaders say their workforce needs upskilling in data literacy, and nearly as many cite a gap in AI literacy. Meanwhile, generative AI adoption has surged from 48% to 69% in just one year, with 47% of organizations already pursuing agentic AI. The technology is moving fast. The skills gap is real. And it won't close itself. What we’ve seen work at Informatica is treating AI fluency the same way you'd treat any critical business capability: with dedicated training, cross-functional coordination, and sustained investment. The companies that pair AI ambitions with genuine proficiency-building across their teams will be the ones that pull ahead. I’m optimistic about where the AI learning curve takes us all. Amit Walia posted thisAs the year turned, I found myself thinking about the people behind our progress. In 2025, Informatica set out with a clear intent: to help enterprises use data and AI in ways that truly mattered. Through sustained focus and execution across our global teams, we reinforced our leadership in enterprise AI-driven cloud data management. That leadership shows up every day in the trust our customers place in us with their most critical data initiatives. It shows up in the strength of our partners, who help extend our impact. And it shows up in the culture our global teams have built, grounded in shared values and integrity, with a clear commitment to doing the right thing. Now, entering the new year and continuing our next chapter with Salesforce, we are strengthening how we deliver meaningful business outcomes. Together, we are creating greater opportunities for innovation while continuing to invest in Informatica’s roadmap and deliver even stronger, AI-powered cloud data management solutions, supported by Salesforce’s scale and leadership. I feel deep gratitude to this community and immense pride in what we have built together. Reaching this moment reflects the commitment and conviction that so many people helped turn into reality. Here's to the journey ahead in 2026.

Amit Walia shared thisOver the past few weeks, teams across Informatica came together for our annual Days of Joy, a long-standing tradition focused on gratitude and giving back. I was able to join some of these celebrations, including a visit to our iLabs innovation hub in India, and it reinforced something I see every day across our company. No matter where we are in the world, the culture shows up in a consistent and genuine way. People are deeply committed to making our customers successful, and they show the same care and support for one another, taking time to connect and celebrate when it matters. This year’s Days of Joy took place as Informatica officially became part of Salesforce. Seeing our teams come together with the same openness and sense of community was a powerful reminder of what we’ve built here, and of the strength we bring as we join forces with another strong, values-led organization. My sincere thanks to every Informatican for the commitment and integrity you brought to this year. Days of Joy was a meaningful way to close out an important year as we step into a future with the scale and opportunity to make an even greater impact!

Amit Walia shared thisWhile standing with our leadership team today and holding these awards, I felt an enormous sense of gratitude. Each one reflects the culture this team has built over many years, a culture rooted in collaboration, innovation and a genuine commitment to doing good for our customers, our partners, our communities and for one another. My heartfelt thanks to Erin Andre and my colleagues pictured here, and to every Informatican for creating a place where people and values truly come first. Your spirit and dedication made this possible. This is our shared achievement and a testament to the heritage we carry with us as we begin our next chapter with Salesforce.

Amit Walia shared thisToday I am thrilled to announce that Informatica has officially joined the Salesforce family. This is a landmark moment for our team, our partners and, most importantly, our customers. By uniting Informatica’s industry-leading, AI-powered data management platform with Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform, our customers can realize the full power of trusted data with a governed and intelligent data management platform that powers more contextual and autonomous experiences for better business outcomes. At Informatica, we’ve always believed that there is no AI without data and that data only becomes meaningful when it’s trusted, governed and actionable. The three pillars of our strategy, Innovation, Customer Centricity and our Values, have guided us through our entire transformation journey. Now, with Salesforce’s global reach and resources, we’re accelerating our mission to put the world’s AI-powered data to work. I want to thank our incredible employees, loyal customers and committed partners. Our journey together has always been about innovation, taking care of our customers and belief in the transformative power of data. As we take this next step, our focus remains unchanged - Informatica will continue its mission to help organizations connect, manage and unify their AI-ready data. We’re just getting started. The best is yet to come. Read more about the announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gR-EFNMk

Amit Walia shared thisJetBlue’s data transformation story reinforces something we’ve been saying for years: customer experience and data quality are inseparable. While many companies mark 25 years by looking back, JetBlue is using the milestone to look ahead — redefining what great customer service means. The company was facing a challenge that many airlines know well — they quickly realized that their legacy on-premises system couldn't keep pace with the demands of modern travel. After adopting Informatica MDM on Microsoft Azure, JetBlue unified nearly 100 million customer profiles and began processing over a million daily events in real time. The new approach has been game-changing: 99% of interactions now connect to a customer profile and 99% uptime ensures smooth, disruption-free operations. What excites me most is how Informatica’s AI-powered, cloud data management platform is enabling JetBlue to reimagine customer support. Their crew members can instantly access relevant customer history, banking partners can validate card applications in real time and marketing teams can deliver more personalized offers through improved segmentation. As Tami Mahadevan and Peterson Chiramel at JetBlue shared with me, this unified data strategy has become the foundation for their JetForward vision, to be loved and profitable for crew-members, customers and owners alike. Thank you to the JetBlue team for trusting Informatica as your partner in this transformation journey. Amit Walia shared thisI’m excited to shine the spotlight on Informatica’s strong Q3’25 performance and innovation momentum, as customers are leveraging our AI-powered platform to accelerate their data transformation initiatives. This quarter we launched our first CLAIRE Agents, giving users powerful AI collaborators that automate complex data management through natural language. Our expanded Oracle partnership is delivering new capabilities for enterprises that have stringent regulatory requirements. Amit Walia posted thisFour years ago today, we rang the NYSE opening bell to celebrate our return to the public markets. It was a pivotal moment not just for Informatica, but for everyone who believed in our mission to be a leader in AI-powered, cloud data management. Since then, year after year, we've made bold, strategic bets by modernizing our platform for the cloud, doubling down on AI and innovation, transforming how enterprises manage data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments and, most recently, announcing our plan to join the Salesforce family. Each of these milestones was a high-stakes decision. Failure? Not an option. Why? Because our teams understood what was at stake and delivered time and again. We balanced ambition with discipline, speed with strategy and vision with values. Through it all, we’ve stayed true to who we are—customer-first, innovation-driven and grounded in integrity and teamwork. To every Informatica employee around the globe, thank you. Your passion, resilience, and belief in what we’re building made all this possible. Four years post-IPO, stronger than ever and just getting started.

Amit Walia liked thisAmit Walia liked thisWhen we started Salesforce 27 years ago, we made a simple bet that business could be the greatest platform for change. That belief became our 1-1-1 model: committing 1% of equity, 1% of product, 1% of employee time to giving back from day one. As the company grew, that early 1% pledge transformed into supporting nearly $1 billion of corporate philanthropy, nonprofit access to our technology for nonprofits, and 10.5 million hours in employee volunteer time. It’s also motivated our more than $1 billion in personal philanthropy, with our focus on pediatric health, education and communities at UCSF and beyond. Grateful to be included on The Chronicle of Philanthropy's Philanthropy 50 list for the 11th time since 2010, and to all of the philanthropists behind this year’s $22.4B impact. Thank you to every philanthropist on this list and everywhere who is investing in our communities and our future. https://lnkd.in/eyXxnd_iMarc and Lynne Benioff Recognized as Top Philanthropists for 11th YearMarc and Lynne Benioff Recognized as Top Philanthropists for 11th Year

Amit Walia liked thisAmit Walia liked thisJust finished our Q4 earnings call. Docusign had a standout quarter and a great year, demonstrating the strength and durability of our business. After just 18 months, our new contract management platform IAM is generating over $350 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), delivering strong expansion and retention. Here are some highlights: ➡️Our metrics reflect a business with scale, momentum, and growth. We achieved our first year of generating $1 billion of free cash flow, our first year of over 30% operating margins, and continued rapid expansion of our AI-native Intelligent Agreement Management platform. ➡️AI is transformative for Docusign's customers and business. Three years ago, we saw that agreements could be an advantage for our customers if we applied AI to transform how they are created, understood, and managed. Docusign IAM is the only platform combining full agreement lifecycle support with purpose-built AI with over 200 million private, consented agreements. ➡️We’re also seeing that customers are making long-term commitments and investments with us because IAM is unlocking end-to-end workflows that are saving them time and money. Customers are seeing results with a 75% faster contracting cycle and an 81% improvement in document turnaround time. I want to thank the entire Docusign team for their dedication to helping our customers move faster, grow their businesses, and operate more efficiently, all while transforming Docusign into a durable, long-term growth business.

Amit Walia liked thisAmit Walia liked thisToday is my first day as President & CEO of PayPal. As a member of PayPal’s Board of Directors for the last five years, I’ve had a front-row seat to PayPal’s strengths: our global scale, trusted brand, powerful two-sided platform of consumers and merchants, and most importantly, our people. We have significant strengths, but we have not executed to our full potential. Now is the time to turn those strengths into sharper focus, and stronger, more consistent results. We operate in a highly competitive, fast-moving environment. Winning requires clear priorities, disciplined execution, and innovation that consistently improves customer experiences at scale. PayPal has a vital role to play for millions of consumers and merchants around the world. Over the coming weeks, I look forward to spending time with customers, partners, and teams globally. Listening and learning will be essential as we move forward. We have an incredible opportunity ahead of us — and we’re going to unlock it together.

Amit Walia liked thisAmit Walia liked thisExactly 10 years ago (Jan 2016), I stepped in as CEO. We had just closed out Q4 with a total of $600k in revenue (screenshot from board deck). Fast forward a decade. Q4 audited GAAP Revenue: $1,290M and over $5.4B revenue run-rate ending January. I’ve never tweeted our exact quarterly financials before, but seeing that $1.29B number cross my desk on my 10-year anniversary hit differently. To the team that built this: THANK YOU. If you're following the data space, you know exactly what this milestone means.

Chakra Devalla, Co-Founder and CEO of TekVizion, discusses the critical role of testing, certification, and assurance. TekVizion has been in business for more than 20 years and is trusted by many of the world’s leading UC, UCaaS, and CCaaS providers. The company focuses on validating communications solutions from an end-to-end perspective, helping ensure that platforms deliver the reliability and user experience enterprises depend on. As Chakra explained, individual product teams test their own components, but tekVizion evaluates the full solution from the user experience perspective. As AI continues to reshape collaboration and contact center platforms, independent validation and interoperability testing are becoming even more important. Most organizations approach AI by asking, “How can we make this process a little faster or cheaper?" It is time to flip that question. That’s why Egen always starts with “Clean-Sheet Thinking." If you were designing your core process from scratch, with no legacy systems or manual constraints, what would it look like if designed natively for AI? This approach gives us the freedom to develop end-to-end workflows with intelligence directly embedded, not bolted on afterward. I discussed this and more with Salim Hasham, Director of AI Transformation at Google Cloud, on a new episode of The AI Vantage podcast. It was a pleasure speaking with Salim about how Egen uses our deep Google Cloud expertise to rapidly move from concept to scaled, responsible, and measurable business outcomes. Listen to the episode to learn how Egen connects AI to clear business value, both for our clients and on our own journey to becoming an AI-first technology services company. #GoogleCloud #GoogleCloudPartner #AI #AIStrategy #BusinessTransformation #AccelerateValue #TheAIVantage Podcast: https://lnkd.in/gyd2c4us

I recently interviewed Harshit Omar, Co-Founder & CTO of FluidCloud, and asked him three direct questions about what recent cloud outages really mean for enterprises. His answers cut through the noise — on: • Why “multi-cloud” often isn’t truly resilient • Where most enterprises are still exposed to risk • What real cloud portability actually looks like in practice Great read!

Is private AI the key to fearless adoption in regulated industries? This was one of many insightful perspectives shared by Vinayak Kadam, EVP & CBO at Enkefalos Technologies, during our latest Backstage Talks at GenAI Week Silicon Valley 2025. Vinayak revealed how his team is reshaping the way enterprises embrace AI, making it accessible, affordable, and secure, especially for sensitive sectors like insurance. Here’s what stood out from our chat: 🚀 The rising importance of private and vertical AI solutions for regulated industries. 🔒 How GenAI Foundry enables secure and collaborative AI without compromising data privacy. 📈 Real-world impact: Underwriters using their private LLM can handle ten cases instead of two. That’s a 5X productivity boost. 🤝 Specialized business solutions built on major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google. 💡 Enkefalos’ unique approach includes free consulting and roadmap development for the first 8 to 12 weeks, making AI accessible even for smaller enterprises. Vinayak’s vision of democratizing AI adoption really resonated with me. As he said, “Ultimately, every company has to get into AI. If not today, tomorrow.” I think that’s deeply relevant and timely. If you're navigating your own journey toward AI transformation, this conversation is definitely worth your time. Watch our insightful conversation attached below. I'm excited to hear your thoughts! #SiliconValleyVoicesOfAI #PrivateAI #GenAI #DataPrivacy #EnterpriseAI #InsuranceTech #AITransformation #VerticalAI #BackstageTalks #GenAIWeek2025 GPTDAO

Very happy to share that Vinay Rao is joining Samaipata as an Operating Partner. Vinay brings deep AI expertise built over decades at the frontier, including senior roles at Anthropic and Google, where he worked on real product and security challenges. He understands not just what these systems can do, but where they break. He is based in San Francisco and serves as CTO of ROOST.tools, a non-profit developing open source infrastructure aimed at improving safety standards across online platforms in the tech ecosystem. After joining our Annual Summit and leading a session on some of the toughest questions in AI today, including reliability, misuse and misalignment, it became clear that he could bring immense value to our community. We wanted to bring his expertise closer to our founders. As an Operating Partner, Vinay will mentor founders of our portfolio companies on critical decisions from day one. In early stage companies, choices around AI architecture, security and governance define speed, defensibility and long term risk. For our founders, having Vinay involved at those moments will make a real difference. Welcome to the team, Vinay. Excited for what is ahead! Thank you to Cinco Días for the coverage. More information in the link in the comments (in Spanish).

At #AppWorld2026 last week, one theme kept emerging in customer conversations: organizations are racing to adopt AI while managing infrastructure so complex that innovation stalls. Zeus Kerravala captures this perfectly in his SiliconANGLE & theCUBE piece: "The Age of AI is quickly becoming the Age of Complexity." He outlines three friction points holding back AI adoption and explores how platform convergence—bringing application delivery and security together—helps customers overcome what he calls the "complexity tax." Zeus, thank you for this thoughtful analysis of our F5 AppWorld news. Read the full piece: https://lnkd.in/ghfYRz66

Yesterday’s encounter that reminded me why protocols matter more than platforms. Had an inspiring conversation with Rajeesh Menon, whose work spans the entire digital infrastructure ecosystem that’s quietly revolutionizing how we think about systemic change. From EkStep Foundation to Beckn Open Collective, Rajeesh embodies something crucial: building systems that serve rather than surveil, that empower rather than extract. What excites me most is exploring how our community-driven approach (SAOcommons) to human capital indexing (WellbeingProtocol) could plug into this broader ecosystem of digital public / common goods. The goal? Value redistribution that’s signal-based and equitable rather than platform-captured. But this conversation also surfaced some critical questions I’m wrestling with: 1) “Emission” vs “Collection” of data 2) Deep Thinkers' Collective. 3) Anti-hive-mind design - How does TheInternetOfValue preserve individual agency while enabling collective intelligence? 4) “Weaponising” context ? If you’re working on systems that put livelihoods with dignity at the center, Rajeesh Menon is building something remarkable. Worth following his journey. Thanks for the active listening and questions, Rajeesh!
