Mayfield Fellows Program at Stanford has a history of over 30 years with many incredible educators who have helped to build this institution. Tom Byers Tina Seelig Bob Sutton created this storied program and I get to now co-direct this as well. It's a community of wonderful students who seek to use entrepreneurship as a key lever to ask why the world exists the way it does and build something better. Thanks to Jon Levin for coming to celebrate this anniversary!
For the past 30 years Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP) has run a Stanford gem: the Mayfield Fellows Program. Each year, a small cohort of students interns at some of Silicon Valley’s leading companies and gets a crash course in entrepreneurship from a rockstar team—led by Tom Byers and Ann Miura-Ko. MFP’s alums include founders, investors, Olympians, and leaders at every level. I loved celebrating the program’s milestone anniversary with them last week. Congratulations on 30 years of innovation and impact—and here’s to many more!
Fantastic interview! Nice work.
You’ve built such a phenomenal program and touched so many students along the way - what a milestone!
