Matthew Sharp’s Post

At Xactly Corp, we partnered with kipi.ai to build an ML alert classifier to reduce noise. But the biggest win wasn't the model's 97.8% accuracy—it was the "organizational muscle" my team built along the way. How is your team building AI fluency right now? #Cybersecurity #CISO #MachineLearning #Snowflake #SOC #AI

Assist during the job application process. Specifically, with a person's own assistant that helps them through their specific preferences, rather than spitting out something as ChatGPT might, focusing on authenticity and self-improvement. That's why, as an intern at Careerangel.ai, I'm trying to motivate and encourage people to use AI more in their professional lives. They should be scared of AI, but rather leverage it and increase their chances of success.

This is a masterclass in moving beyond the AI hype to actual implementation!! Transitioning from standard detection rules to a full Gradient Boosted Classifier pipeline integrated with Snowflake Model Registry is a huge leap forward. It’s clear that the 'organisational muscle' is ready for the next level of data-driven security. Excited to see what lies further and what’s possible!

Thanks for publishing this thought leadership Matt! You and your team are leading the charge in AI innovation and curiosity. Looking forward to your perspective as this initiative evolves.

Spot on! Accuracy is the floor, but that 'organizational muscle' is the real ceiling. 🚀 We’re seeing the exact same thing at Cymphony, we apply that same logic to cut through the noise of security alerts. It’s a total game-changer when the team develops the fluency to steer the tech toward real human risk instead of just chasing ghosts. Massive win for the Xactly team! 👏

Great post, Matthew. That “organizational muscle” point is the real work most people overlook. The model gets the attention, but it’s the team’s ability to think, adapt, and carry that change that actually makes it stick.

Matt - thanks for sharing. This is great to see!
