I've retired after 30 years on the Marketing Faculty at San Francisco State. It's been a wild ride. The dot-com boom was in full swing when I joined. Now the AI boom is in full swing in San Francisco. I was fortunate to be here and understand, learn and teach in the areas of marketing, technology and business. Along the way I've had the privilege of working with brilliant and pleasant colleagues at SF State and in other universities all over the world. My gratitude to you all for the work we did together. To my administration and staff colleagues at SF State, I greatly appreciate your support during my roles as faculty, Marketing Department Chair, and Faculty Director, Graduate Business Programs. Most of all I thank my former students, who showed up everyday in class, for their curiosity and their questions, which kept me learning all these years. Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.
Congratulations! You touched so many lives with your gentleness and wisdom. Your students were so luck to have you as their teacher. Enjoy retirement and write more plays :)

I still carry that perspective today and work feels more like play because of professors like you. Your students are out in the world making a meaningful impact as a result. Congrats Sanjit. You had a stellar career and influenced many studuents over the years. Something about which to be very proud. So, I don't see you "retiring", in the traditional sense. What is next on your journey? Curious minds want to know. Best wishes for whatever you do.

congratulations on a stellar career, while our paths did not cross that often after leaving Haas, your cheerful demeanor and showing the ropes to rookie students made us feel at home (in the windowless barrows hall).
Congratulations Sanjit! And thank you for being a constructive and friendly opponent in my Doctoral Defense years ago – and for the cooperation and friendship during the years! Are you going to visit Finland in the future as well? Hopefully we still meet every now and then. I will most probably visit India also next year – but let’s keep in touch!
