Even though the snowstorm kept me from attending Anthropic's New York City event in person, it doesn’t dampen my excitement for the work Anthropic is doing or what it enables for our clients. As Todd Lohr points out, Anthropic's Claude continues to evolve into an enterprise ready specialist that can reflect the context, governance, and expertise organizations want from their AI ecosystem. Every step forward reinforces why collaborating with partners like Anthropic strengthens the differentiated solutions we deliver across the Firm. Advancements like these help our clients move faster, uncover insights with more confidence, and amplify the value of their teams. I’m looking forward to putting these capabilities to work across the broader KPMG US ecosystem with the help of Anthropic's growing alliance organization. Steve Corfield Rich O'Connell Mandi Soleil

This quote from McKinsey really stood out to me during the session “Innovating with Gemini & AI Agents.” AI is rapidly moving from experimentation to real-world implementation. The discussion highlighted how AI agents and enterprise AI platforms are beginning to reshape how organizations work — not by replacing people, but by augmenting human capabilities. It also made me reflect on an important question: How can AI meaningfully support complex fields like healthcare and laboratory services while still maintaining quality, accuracy, and trust? The potential is exciting — from improving operational efficiency to enabling more data-driven decision making. Looking forward to seeing how these technologies will be applied responsibly in healthcare environments. #AI #GenerativeAI #HealthcareInnovation

The webinar “Measuring AI ROI: What Leaders Should Track Beyond Pilots” concluded successfully, and it was great to see leaders and practitioners join the conversation on moving AI from experimentation to real business impact. A few key insights from the session: • AI pilots prove possibility, not value. Real ROI comes when AI changes actual business decisions and workflows. • Accuracy alone is not enough. Without understanding the cost of errors at production scale, model accuracy can be misleading. • Measurement must evolve. Organizations need to shift from tracking model metrics to measuring outcomes like cost reduction, revenue uplift, and cycle-time improvements. • Scaling AI requires more than models. Governance, operational readiness, data reliability, and workflow integration determine whether AI creates sustained value. A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the session and contributed to the discussion. If you missed the webinar and would like to watch the recording, feel free to reach out or reply to the invitation email we shared. How are the CEOs of today strengthening their decision-making process? CEOs are embracing AI – 17% actively use AI in their decision-making journey while 41% currently experiment with it. However, AI will not become an autonomous decision-maker anytime soon. Only 1% of CXOs say that AI could autonomously make certain strategic decisions in the next 1–3 years. Great point about the shift from efficiency to fundamentally changing how things are built. Kate Jensen's opening line at the event was on point. "The 2025 enterprise agent hype was "a failure of approach, not effort." Most organizations try to layer AI onto unstable data foundations, which is a huge challenge and one of the core reasons 80-90% of initiatives stall. The enterprises breaking through are the ones investing in data readiness before deploying agents.
