Jim Dobinski shared thisOur website analytics are revealing a major shift online: bots now make up a huge percentage of web traffic. While many AI bots are simply gathering information, others are actively scanning websites for vulnerabilities, outdated plugins, weak security, and performance gaps that can expose sensitive business data. If your website hasn’t been updated in years, it may have already been attacked without you even realizing it. There isn't time to wait. We just published a new blog: “9 Signs Your Old Website Is Becoming a Security and Performance Risk” — breaking down the warning signs businesses should never ignore and what you can do to stay protected. 🔗 Read the blog here: https://lnkd.in/e6TRaW3E #CyberSecurity #WebDesign #AI #WebsiteSecurity #BusinessTechnology #DigitalTransformation #StellarBlueAIJim Dobinski shared thisWant a free website security audit? Keep reading 👀 Your website may look fine on the outside, but old plugins, outdated databases, bot traffic, broken links, and server strain can create real security and performance problems behind the scenes. If your team is afraid to update the site, struggles to make simple edits, or isn’t sure when the last security review happened, it’s time to take a closer look. We put together a blog covering 9 signs your old website is becoming a security and performance risk. Here’s how to request your free security audit: 1. Go to the blog. 2. Click the Free Security Audit button. 3. Or email strategy@stellarblue.ai and ask for a website security audit. Jim Dobinski shared thisI second Jacquelyn's comments...last night was a fun night of reconnecting, meeting new people, and networking that has us all feeling great about the momentum of where the tech sector in SWFL is headed. Join us if you can...https://swfltech.org/Jim Dobinski shared thisGreat night at the April Naples Tech Meetup 👏 I’ve been attending these meetups since Sebastien Leduc first started them, and it’s been incredible to watch how they’ve grown — not just in size, but in impact. What started as a space to connect has evolved into something much bigger for our regional tech ecosystem. What stood out most last night was the continued collaboration across organizations. Seeing Naples Tech actively working alongside other tech leaders in the area, including SWFL Tech, is exactly the direction we need to keep moving in. The panel brought some great perspectives as well — from John Fitzgerald (project44 ) sharing insights around logistics and supply chain visibility, to Megan S. speaking on her experience in acquisitions and supply chain. It added a real-world layer to the conversation around growth, scaling, and innovation. Laura H. Schmidt, MBA , President of SWFL Tech, shared when we break down silos, we don’t just connect organizations… we strengthen entire communities. And that directly impacts our workforce — creating more opportunity, more access, and more alignment between talent and industry. This is how ecosystems grow. Not in isolation, but together. Grateful to be part of a community that’s leaning into collaboration and building something bigger than any one organization. #SWFLTech #NaplesTech #TechCommunity #Collaboration #WorkforceDevelopment #Ecosystem #BetterTogether

Jim Dobinski reposted thisJim Dobinski reposted thisThe Teaching with AI Framework is Gaining Momentum Last week, I had the privilege of facilitating the workshop "Teaching with AI: Integrating Pedagogical Design and Instrumental Augmentation in Human-Centered Learning" at the AI2 Summit (https://lnkd.in/eWaDxsVz) in Orlando, FL. The session brought together educators and practitioners to explore what it truly means to integrate AI into the classroom, not only as a tool, but as a genuine redesign of the learning experience. That workshop grew directly out of research developed by the WCE AI Fellows, whose work has just been accepted for publication at ICALT 2026 - the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (https://lnkd.in/eK_MzCMw). In that paper, we introduce and formalize 7 Principles for the Pedagogical Integration of AI in the Classroom, a framework designed to guide educators in embedding AI in ways that are intentional, human-centered, and grounded in learning science. The AI2 Summit workshop was an opportunity to bring those principles to life with a live audience, extending the theoretical framing into practice, dialogue, and reflection. One conviction sits at the heart of both: AI in education is fundamentally a pedagogy problem, not a technology problem. When we get that right, AI becomes a genuine amplifier of human learning for students and educators alike. Grateful to the AI2 Summit organizers, to my colleagues WCE AI Fellows, to the Dendritic: A Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Institute at FGCU, and to the Florida Gulf Coast University U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering for enabling it all to happen. More details on the ICALT paper and the Dendritic Institute's ongoing work in AI literacy coming soon. Stay tuned. #TeachingWithAI #AIinEducation #ICALT2026 #AI2Summit #HumanCenteredAI #PedagogicalDesign #DendriticInstitute #FGCU #EdTech

Jim Dobinski shared thisMost businesses already have the tools. The real challenge is getting them to work together. This post from StellarBlue.ai breaks down 5 practical ways to integrate your website, marketing, AI, and sales systems so leads do not slip through the cracks. Worth a read for any business focused on better workflows and stronger follow-up.Jim Dobinski shared thisMost businesses have a website, email platform, social media presence, ad campaigns, and some kind of sales system. What many do not have is integration between them. When those systems operate in isolation, leads fall through the cracks, follow-up gets delayed, and reporting becomes harder to trust. The problem usually is not a lack of effort. It’s a lack of connection between the tools already in place. That’s why we’ve been thinking more about how businesses can build smarter workflows across their website, marketing, AI tools, and sales process. We just published a blog with 5 practical ways to integrate your tools and create a more connected lead system. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/g8W6nPmS

In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, keeping up with search engine algorithm changes is not just important, it’s essential for sustaining visibility and driving traffic to your site. At SEO Elite Agency, we empower businesses like yours in Southwest Florida and beyond with actionable insights to navigate these shifts effectively. Let’s break it down with our 4-step Resilience Framework: 1. Analyze Changes: Stay on top of algorithm updates by leveraging tools like Google Search Central and trusted industry blogs. Understanding these shifts allows you to adjust your strategy accordingly, keeping you ahead of the competition. 2. Audit Your Content: Regularly review your existing content to ensure it meets current relevance and quality standards. Identify any underperforming pages that may have slipped in rankings and enhance them. A routine audit process not only boosts authority but also enhances user experience across your site. 3. Update and Optimize: Use data-driven strategies to refine your content. By adding target keywords, refreshing metadata, and improving user engagement metrics, you can enhance your site’s capability to attract traffic in alignment with algorithm changes. 4. Test and Refine: After implementing changes, it's crucial to monitor their effectiveness. Utilize A/B testing to gauge performance and make adjustments based on the results, ensuring your strategy remains robust and relevant. Integrating this resilience framework into your digital marketing strategy will help you adapt to algorithm changes while boosting your overall online performance. Local search is where most buying decisions start. Every day, thousands of people in South Florida search things like: “dentist near me” “roof repair near me” “chiropractor near me” “google ads agency near me” These are high-intent searches. The person searching is usually ready to call, book, or visit. But here’s what many businesses still misunderstand… You don’t actually rank for “near me” by stuffing the words near me all over your website. Google determines local results using a combination of relevance, proximity, and prominence, meaning the businesses that appear are the ones that send the strongest local signals online. In my latest article I break down: • Why most businesses misunderstand “near me” SEO • How Google actually determines local rankings • The role of Google Business Profiles and reviews • Why local landing pages are critical • How content and authority signals influence local visibility If your business depends on local customers, understanding this is critical. Read the full article here 👇 https://lnkd.in/e8RXQyVE Local SEO is no longer optional. It’s how businesses get discovered. #SEO #LocalSEO #GoogleBusinessProfile #DigitalMarketing #SouthFloridaBusiness #LeadGeneration #gmb #nearmesearches

📄Are your PDFs really safe in WordPress? Most site owners don’t realize that uploading a file doesn’t mean it’s secure. WordPress gives every PDF a public URL—even if the page is private. 🔔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: Collier County MPO in Florida Seeks WordPress Website Maintenance and Hosting Services Estimated Annual Budget: $5,000 - $10,000 ---- Key Features & Requirements: * WordPress Maintenance: Core/plugin/theme updates, backups, malware monitoring, performance optimization, and bug fixes * Hosting & Security: Secure hosting, SSL setup, uptime monitoring, and firewall/DDoS protection * Accessibility Compliance: Support for ADA and WCAG 2.1 standards with regular audits * Content Management: Support for non-technical staff to easily update content * Community Engagement Tools: Forms, surveys, calendars, and social media integration * Technical Support: Up to 20 hours/year for ad hoc support requests * SEO & Performance: Basic SEO audits, optimizations, and fast-loading user experience ---- Check the details of this project here in our group: https://lnkd.in/g5hP2FU ---- 🟢👀🟢 If the above project is not the perfect fit for your agency ... I recommend getting clients from inbound channels. (I cover multiple proven lead gen strategies in my program) And they are often counterintuitive. For example: Agencies are generating $30k+/mo getting clients from Upwork (Web Dev Agency Case Study) Some agencies in my mastermind are getting $10k - $30k web dev leads from Upwork, check out one of our latest case studies: https://lnkd.in/eemDj4yZ ($45k/mo Case Study) The problem: Usually the projects on Upwork are too small, the competition is too high and it takes too much time. The solution: So we combined all our knowledge from the agencies in my mastermind group who have the most experience succeeding on Upwork. After many tests we finally came up with a powerful new method of bidding & winning larger deals on Upwork. We broke the process into 3 stages, found the bottlenecks and used our combined experience to optimize each stage: (1) the selection stage (2) the bidding stage (3) the booking and closing stage. This gave us over a 900% increase in results from Upwork -- and most of the steps can be automated. As you can see it's working very well: https://lnkd.in/eeXRzDGv If you want to get the full strategy, DM me with "Upwork" https://m.me/upscalemethod and I'll be happy to discuss this in more detail. --- Chris "Upscale" Johnson Web Dev & WordPress Leads Web Agency Coach UpscaleMethod . com #webdesignleads #webdesignagency #webdesign #webdesigner #webdeveloper #webagency #digitalagency #agencycoach #webagencycoach #digitalagencycoach #mentor #businesscoach #mastermind #mentorship
